🔍 Our next Murder Mystery Knitting Weekend is in February 2027 in Gettysburg PA 🔍 The delightful Safiyyah Talley a/k/a @drunkknitter will be our co-host and teach a workshop on custom cowlettes. The murder mystery weekend is for more than knitters, so you can bring along a non-knitter for the murder mystery (which happens at meals), or plan a knitter-friend long weekend. There’s really nothing like @vogueknittingonline Knitting LIVE in NYC. ♥️

The energy I feel LEAVING the fiber festival weekend is pure magic and already I can’t wait to be back!! ✨ 250+ classes, fashion shows, a massive 2-floor marketplace with so many treasures beyond all the gorgeous yarn (like the beautiful @thewanderingflock in background above), meetups, featured artists, VIP events and so much inspiration!!

Already so excited just typing this out! See you in January!! 🥰

And yes, those tacos are seriously the best and I need to have them at least 3 times while I’m there. They’re incredible, cheap and less than 3 blocks away if I don’t get lost lol 😅 🌮

🥹 Fun Fact: @vogueknittingonline reached out to me ONE MONTH after my very first knitting pattern release to start teaching (something totally not on my radar) and at VKL NYC 2020 I taught for the first time - 6 sold-out classes where I discovered that I absolutely love teaching! So grateful to Gabby and @pepperknit for believing in me! 🫶

Last weekend i attended Knitopia in Milwaukee. It was the last weekend getaway and I squeezed every last drop of fun out. There was some serious knitting to do. First class was with @drunkknitter to learn her method of knitting socks 2 at a time. Met someone wearing the watermelon shawl (yarn by @bahyarns) Took a brioche class from the fabulous @julieknitsinparis. She may just be my parisian twin separated at birth. For dinner we tried to go to the Safe House, but it was a miss. The adventure was getting there. The third class I took was with @tellybeanknits which was a fun pick your destiny type project. (I'll post when it's done), but i love the colors I chose. Got to spend a lot of time with @mckenzie.diana during the down time exploring the downtown area. The final class was with @melissa.leapman to learn intarsia with German short rows. I finished the swatch, but definitely need more practice to switch those colors seamlessly. Sunday Stephanie and I snuck out to the art museum for an adventure (pictures to come). The weekend ended up with a 3 hour cruise and cocktails. Overall it was a lovely experience and I met some amazing humans while learning new techniques.
