Today is my birthday, and without question the defining moment of my last year (and really my whole life) was getting to drive a Bugatti Veyron for the first time. It was simply divine, an experience beyond words, one I’ll remember for the rest of my years.

This is the most superlative car of all time, and it left me a stuttering mess. Even now, months later, having had much time to digest and gush about the drive to others, it’s still hard to describe what it was like beyond just exclaiming “it was perfect.” But I did my best to try. Hello & welcome to the infamous annual RMG Car Week photo dump! This was my first time working for an OEM at Car Week, and it was interesting to see it from that perspective – and still find time for some fun along the way. A week of incredible cars, wonderfully cool weather (I didn’t get sunburnt this year!) and, as we all (truly all) always say, the best people around. With my time more limited than in years past, that last bit was made even more obvious. Very grateful to be part of this crazy community.

And yes, Car Week is still fashion week 🥂

I’ve gotten to do a bunch of on-track experiences through my job, but none have been as thrilling or actually beneficial to my skills as attending Porsche’s entry-level Track Experience school at Laguna Seca. Being a spectator or doing a ridealong there is one thing, but getting to do dozens of laps behind the wheel of a 911 Carrera S? That’s something I won’t soon forget.
