I shared this at my baptism, but I wanted to share it again.

I originally wanted to get baptized in June, but the Lord allowed roadblocks that kept it from happening. At the time, I couldn’t understand why.

Then my church offered another round of beach baptisms. And standing there yesterday, surrounded by the family I’ve gained between June and now, I understood.

They were answered prayers. I had asked God for a community in Christ, and He gave me one.

To my new Kingdom family who came out to celebrate with me, thank you. As much as my baptism was a public declaration of my faith and commitment to Christ, it was also a declaration of my place within the body of Christ. Every one of you has been instrumental in my journey, and yesterday felt like honoring that just as much as it was honoring my walk with Jesus.

And to my extended Kingdom family that has grown through social media, thank you for being here. Thank you for showing me that God’s love knows no bounds, no matter where in the world we are

2025 photo dump: In no particular order, but all very intentional.

This year asked me to shed skin I didn’t even realize I was still wearing. Old beliefs. Old patterns. Old versions of love, work, and identity that once kept me safe but no longer fit. There were moves (plural), a painful goodbye, and a quiet reckoning with who I’ve been becoming over the last decade.

There were sacred waterfalls and loud laughter with friends who know my shadows and stay anyway. New tattoos, Long conversations, late nights, and moments that reminded me why chosen family matters so much. There was the slow, emotional process of moving my mom up to Petaluma, sorting through the remains of a life once lived in Silver Lake, honoring what was, grieving what’s gone, and making room for what’s next.

And somewhere in the middle of all that unraveling, love found me again. Steady. Honest. Expansive. @coachjesshendrick thank you for meeting me where I am, for your patience, your presence, and the way you walk beside me rather than ahead of me. This relationship has been a gift, and I don’t take that lightly.

2025 taught me that slow, steady, and precise beats impulsive every time. That clarity comes when you stop forcing. That growth isn’t loud—it’s consistent. None of this was easy, but all of it was necessary. And somehow, it all feels aligned with the greatest and highest good.

As this Gregorian year sheds its skin, I step forward grateful, grounded, and ready to give back what I’ve learned, plus more. Cheers to health, wealth, abundance, deep connection, and the ongoing work of self-realization. Onward.
