The #Bisimoto #SOHC #HondaInsight clicked off a 9.3 at 145+mph at the #IDRC race in Fontana CA...in natural aspiration.
This test bed gave rise to so many Honda performance go-fast parts, and holds records which stand today.

During Tokyo Car Week we stopped by the Nissan Heritage Collection in Zama, Kanagawa, Japan. 🇯🇵 The museum is filled with more than 450 cars that date all the way back to the 1930s. They house Nissan, Datsun, and Prince models of street and race cars. The tour is led by retired Nissan Executives so the history they share runs deep and personal for them. Finally got through my 2016 camera roll. Wild year. A lot of miles, a lot of people I care about, and a lot of work that quietly set the table for everything I’m building now. Feel incredibly lucky and blessed. Can’t wait to see what the next decade has in store.

For my own records, here are the cities I hit in ‘16:
Bangkok, Phuket, Cebu, Hong Kong, Detroit, NYC, Amsterdam, Cologne, Nürburgring, London, Turin, Milan, Colorado Springs, Austin, Monterey, San Francisco, Vegas, Seattle, and Honolulu.

20 years ago I grew up in the best era of the modified car scene. I dreamed of being around nothing but the best JDM cars and learning how to drift. Fast forward some years i started a business, sold my drift car to fund it, and left the car scene.
Being in Tokyo Japan for the first time literally living a teenage fantasy that is even better than I imagined! Meeting so many amazing people, building relationships and networks I didn’t know would happen. And learning a culture that we will bring home to incorporate in our community and business! ...among a slew of Twin Cam Hondas. As we used to say : "Tonight's Special: Smoked DOHC"..lol

#ThrowbackThursday, circa 2001. At the #IDRC race near #SanAntonio, TX, the team and I made the trek from California with the #Bisimoto #SOHC 1.5L #AllMotor #CRX.With the field consisting of a slew of twin cam monsters, including @drdreavonevil 's potent Rex, we came in 2nd place....and had a blast in the process.
