WARMTH WE CARRY at Producers’ Club. 🏮🎭🎬

I loved getting to wear my director hat (and my sound & light designer and stage manager hats) this week collaborating with a fabulous cast to workshop and present a new play by Yune (Sophie) Park. Thank you to Thomas and @kyleewalt for the opportunity.

An exploration of memories with whimsical lights for the set as indicated in the script? Getting to go to work to create something new AND learn how to run a light board? Sign me up.

Much Ado About Nothing July 2026 at @skylinetheatrecompany
Thrilled to have been a part of this production with such wonderful people! Shakespeare on the Porch was a great success even through the heat and smoke. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us!

We came to NYC to witness the World Premiere of Voices of the South's production of Tracey Zerwig-Ford's Memphis-based, smart comedy, Queen of Harts, directed by Alice Rainey Berry. The play is part of the off-Broadway Gene Frankel Theatre Festival, and it was a full house, including a bunch of Tracey's fans from Memphis and our local friends, including David Chase and his husband, Gerard Cortinez.

Assistant Directing + Choreographing on @skylinetheatrecompany’s inaugural “Shakespeare on the Porch” was wonder- filled indeed.

I learned so much and loved championing on our awesome cast of 7 taking on this “Herculean task”, (as Don Pedro might say😉) of mounting a full production of MAAN In TWO WEEKS! Shout out to Director, David Neal, for his clowning expertise and incredible feat of cutting down the script and not sacrificing clarity or heart along the way. And to @tess.elizabethh for agreeing to jump in as my assistant (#Oklahoma and #shakeass forever!) And @agwils for all you taught me on this side of the table!

So beyond lucky to be a part of the @skylinetheatrecompany family (any @sscalamoni vision is pure magic!) and to have made the little lady in the final slide super happy. ➡️🫶🏻

Now STRIKE UP THE PIPERS! We did it! 🥂

Who wins in a family of losers? In a forgotten corner of south Memphis, gambler Dusty Hart’s luck has finally run out. The rooks are gathering. The deck seems stacked against her adult children when the sins of their womanizing father come home to roost. Place your bets on who walks away with the money.
Pro Tip: The house always wins.

🌦️ Weather Update for Tonight’s Performance

Thank you so much for your patience!

We’ve been closely monitoring the forecast with the National Weather Service and the latest radar, and we’re cautiously optimistic that the weather will cooperate. At this time, our 6:00 PM performance is moving forward as scheduled.

Please come prepared for the possibility of light rain or damp conditions. If the weather becomes unsafe at any point, we will pause the performance and move everyone indoors until it’s safe to continue. The safety of our audience, cast, crew, and volunteers is our top priority.

Thank you for your support! We can’t wait to share Much Ado About Nothing with you tonight. Please travel safely, and we’ll see you at 6:00 PM!
