Sometimes fans forget that players are human.

A draft pick isn’t a finished product—it’s the beginning of a journey. Growth takes time. Development takes patience. Not every player arrives ready-made for the spotlight.

One message from Drew stood out:

“Give them time.”

When players are given the opportunity to learn, adjust, and grow, the talent that got them there has a chance to shine. Development isn’t always linear, but with patience and opportunity, players will show you who they can become.#baseballtalk #podcastclips #baseballlife #giantsbaseball⚾️

For Drew, player development is more than drills and mechanics — it’s about understanding each player as a person. When coaches take the time to listen, communicate honestly, and earn trust, players become more open to learning, growing, and buying into the process.#sfgiants⚾️#baseballcoach⚾️ #milb #podcastclips
