Atl open meet recap Best meet Ive done since going back to 83kg. Even with dealing with a swollen ankle, bruised ac joint. I was able to hit massive prs and see where I’m at in progress. Unfortunately i literally have surgery in the next couple weeks but I couldn’t back out of this meet. I wanted to prove myself that even hurt I can still do it. I don’t know when my next meet is but I’ll be back very soon. All thanks to the goat @pljohnabd no matter the weight he was just as excited as I was and I wouldn’t be able to do it without him. Maybe I’ll be back for unats or just do the dna meet 👀 anyways here the recap squat 180/396 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 190/418 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 195/429 🔴⚪️⚪️ Meet pr 22.23kg meet pr Best part of the meet, felt so good. Especially passing that 405 pr and going beyond. Surprised my ankle didn’t give out. Deadlift 210/462⚪️⚪️⚪️ 220/485 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ matched meet pr as a 83kg 227.5/501 🔴🔴🔴(hitched) still locked out tho Was still happy about deadlifts but holy grind on 501 got it to the top but due to tech hitched last second, I’ll be back to clean it up trust. Total 525 total (25+kg meet pr) (-12kg training total) 7/9 (really 8/9) 19 years old I wanna thank all my teammates and friends for coming out and supporting me. Overall very proud of myself but my injuries need healing and I’ll be taken a step back from the sport. This is not goodbye but will be back.
