Some captures from my opening set for the album launch of @lunardeceptionmusic at @hootanannybrixton on the 23rd of September.

What a whirlwind the last few months have been! Many blessings & challenges but creative inspiration has been consistent throughout!

I opened the set with “Κεραυνός ⚡️ “ = Lightning in Greek

Something newly channelled and created so effortlessly on-the-go, that it seemed poised to erupt despite me.

Lightning as a single point of ecstasy, hierophany and cataclysmic transformation has been very present throughout my life, particularly since this summer Solstice.

During this autumn Equinox, being called to perform at the Bacchanal event of @foxbadge, an invocation and ode to the Lightning-born god (Dionysus / Bacchus) bubbled up, in my native tongue (greek).

Next upcoming gig is on the 5th of November - the second edition of THRICE WOVEN, collaborative gig series with fellow greek witches @dunja_botic and @christina_deva !
Brought to you with the help of @mirr_ortv, to be held at @theoldchurchn16

Hope to see you there 💫 ✨

A special day performing at @britishmuseum for the Bayeux Tapestry celebrations 📖 🤍

Our programme explored the events of 1066 from different perspectives, with recitations in Old French, Old English and Latin telling of Norman legend, English defeat and Harold’s final fate.

Alongside them, we sang the Lai du Chèvrefeuille, a Breton narrative song reflecting both the storytelling and the cross-Channel culture of the Bayeux Tapestry. A Sibylline prophecy evoked the apocalyptic language of judgement surrounding conquest and the Domesday Book, while Greek polyphonic laments gave voice to the human grief left in its wake.

Thank you @britishmuseum and @melissa.chatton for having us, and to everyone who came to listen! 🤲

Karp.OS is a collaborative project by London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Karp and vocalist Dunja Botic, blending Greek, Turkish and Balkan folk traditions with deep electronic production. Through traditional melodies, hypnotic rhythms and heavy grooves, they create an immersive sound world between heritage and contemporary music.

The debut EP “North” reimagines songs from Greek Thrace, combining folk material with experimental sound design and electronic textures.
