A closer look at the details of CDQ Suite.

While we’re not quite ready to reveal the full finished space, there’s been simply too much happening behind the scenes not to share at least a little glimpse.

The textures. Finishes. Joinery. Lighting. Furniture. Each one carefully considered, to create depth, warmth and a feeling that is distinctly CDQ. It’s these smaller moments that make the bigger picture work. The things you might not notice straight away, but you feel when everything comes together.

Lesmurdie project complete ✔️

We have finished a feature wall and wainscoting installation throughout our clients new home, adding timeless character and detail to every space.

Our scope of works included:
• Double height wainscoting to the lounge, entrance, home theatre and master bedroom.
• Dado height wainscoting to two minor bedrooms.
• Dado height VJ panelling to one minor bedroom, the activity area and the home office.
• Board & batten style panelling to the laundry.

Everything has been left ready for the client’s painter to complete the filling, caulking and final paint finish.

NB: the skirting boards on this project were installed by others.

Returning at a later date to install some more VJ panelling.

When I first got the keys to this studio, I had one clear vision: to create a space that felt warm, calming and welcoming. Somewhere people could slow down, reconnect with their senses, and let their creativity flow.

A huge thank you to Paige and Martine from @duohaus_ for helping bring that vision to life. From the layout to the finishes, they helped transform an empty space into the welcoming atelier I had envisioned.

The beautiful dried floral installations were created by @theflowergirlperth , adding the perfect touch of warmth and nature to the space. 🌾

Every detail was chosen with intention to create a studio that feels elegant yet relaxed, minimalist, grounded, and inspired by nature.
