Huge congratulations to everyone who competed at the Central Children’s Home Meet in Oxford today! We came away with an incredible 2 first-place finishes, 3 second-place finishes, and 2 third-place finishes!

But the results are only part of the story. Every single athlete gave great effort, competed hard, and represented the Flyers the right way. Even better, our kids did an awesome job cheering on and supporting their teammates throughout the morning. That’s what being a team is all about!

We’re incredibly proud of all of you. Keep working, keep improving, and keep showing up for each other. Great job, Flyers! 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Brown 31’

I am so proud to announce my official commitment to the admissions process at Brown University. It has been such an amazing 4 years of track and field, and I can’t wait to continue my journey at Brown. I want to thank my family first of all for all the opportunities and support they have provided. Secondly I want to thank Coach Beyle for being a truly amazing mentor and coach during my high school career. Third I would like to thank Coach Ben for providing me with the opportunity to train with the Durham Striders and so many amazing people. Lastly I would like to thank Coach DJ and everyone else who helped me along my journey.

Can’t wait for the next four!!

After sharpening his skills at the University of Alabama, Khaleb took his talent to the world stage — earning a silver medal for Team USA in the 4x400 relay at the 2025 World Athletics Championships.🔥 #durhamsportsblackhistory

With the Olympic Games underway, we’re spotlighting Duke legend Randy Jones.🏅

A standout student-athlete at Duke in both football and track & field and a former Durham Strider, Randy went on to represent Team USA on the world’s biggest stage as a bobsledder. Competing in four Winter Olympic Games, he earned a silver medal at the 2002 Olympics and cemented his place in Duke and Olympic history. #DurhamSportsBlackHistory

Get ready for the 2026 USATF North Carolina Association Junior Olympics!

From June 26–28, 2026, young athletes from across the state will gather for a weekend packed with energy, competition, and standout performances.

The location is still to be announced, but the 2026 event is shaping up to be a thrilling showcase of speed, strength, endurance, and impressive track and field action—from powerful throws to soaring jumps—you won’t want to miss.
