The Northwest League playoffs start tonight and for the first time since 2021, won’t include the @vancanadians in spite of the fact they finished the season with the second-best overall record. So glad we caught that banger of a final win on Saturday with these beautiful people, and we’re already looking forward to the chilly home opener next April!

#SewistsPicnicYVR at Rocky Point on May 26, 2024

I apologize for taking so long to do a roundup post from the May 26, 2024 #SewistsPicnicYVR - we are halfway to the next one on October 6th, so we’ll call it a #SaveTheDate reminder at the same time 😆

You may know I caught COVID late May and it took me a long time to recover physically and mentally. But, then i burnt myself out with promised #OtherPeopleSewing (still working on the last one 🤦‍♀️) I’m sorry it has taken so long.

Any round up post at all is only possible because @sewmuchtodesign sent me great photos and @milhouse_sews is such a great help at keeping track of names/faces/IG handles AND everything else that makes it possible for this picnic to happen (Never take it personally if I’m NOT so good at keeping track - my brain is less than stellar)

I appreciate it so much when I get photos from the picnic from other people because I will ALWAYS be talking too much to remember to take ANY 😂
