We found ourselves in Switzerland 🇨🇭 yesterday.

Pouring rains, 5C 🌧️🌧️ a road tunnel with km of construction on a 15km climb.

Road Magic happened when Andrew and his brilliant son stopped. They recognized Mira!
Andrew rides a @ridepriority 600X, is a @duzer fan and Mira too.

20 min later we were in the next valley with no rain as we unloaded the @xtracycle from his truck. What a champion 🥇

The Best Bike for Bikepacking *Priority Partner (Thank you @ridepriority for the bike!)

I talk about the Priority 600ADX, a bikepacking bike that stands out with its Gates carbon belt drive and Pinion gear box, making it nearly maintenance-free.

Welcome back to Connor Swegle, who shared his story of joining Ryan Van Duzer for section 5 of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route this past summer! Duzer was on his fourth attempt to finish the thing and was part of the Adventure Cycling Association’s 50th anniversary celebration! So I’d like to invite you to tune in and see why Connor had a number pinky finger! You can find the Bike Talk with Dave podcast on any of your favorite podcast platforms! #gdmbr #greatdividemountainbikeroute #mountainbike #bikepacking

Scenes from life lately.

My life has changed radically over the last few months. As a result, I moved across the country to my new home state of Virginia. As I made my way across the country I was made sure to see as many friends and family as I could. After a little over month of being here, I finally feel like I’m settling in! And after months of being determined to keep pushing through and putting one foot in front of the other day after day... I’m feeling like I can rest. Life is a fun journey, and we learn so much along the way. ✨

Boulder in its yellow butterscotch and deepbright blue October glory.

Unseasonably hot and dry and folks beginning to awaken, slowly, to caring about our earth and our children’s lives on it.

Community and long talks and hearty soups and processing and coffee and bicycling and lots of breathing deeply and tired daddy working late nights missing baby and my Love and our family. 🦊🧡🚲☕️🏡♥️💛🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁👶

So grateful to have the support of my friend, @duzer. Ryan is a bright light in this community... a Care Bear in every sense of the word. We share a deep love for Boulder and a desire to keep it real, weird, and a place everyone can call home. Happy Thursday!
