GOLDSTAR TOUR IS OVER ‼️ 61 SHOWS THIS YEAR SO FAR. Somehow we’re on the other end of it all. We’ve bled, sweat, and cried from orifices we didn’t even know we had. In a lot of ways its felt like we’ve had to relearn our respective instruments over again and re-examine our fundamental knowledge of these songs we wrote years ago. We’ve played our best, worst, smallest and largest shows (sometimes all consecutively) and then woke up at 4 am and did it all again.

Massive thank you to everyone who came to the shows. U made the big crowds feel small and the small crowds feel massive. You guys are so cool and we absolutely cannot wait to see you again (that is if u choose to come to another Sophs show).

THANK U ALSO to our wonderful team on and off the road. How hard the drivers, promoters, sound guys, agents, managers, etc. all work dwarves our hustle any day.

Yes I am tired but the truth is my need to keep moving supersedes any exhaustion I may have! That being said, we have two more one-off shows. The first is in Malibu, spinning it back with our friends @cheridomingo, in support of @chirla_org, July 24 at @aviatornationdreamland. Tickets in bio :)

THEN July 26 @theums in Denver, CO.

Then it’s time to do this whole thing over again.

🎸🔥 Controlled chaos at the legendary 100 Club back in April. The Sophs continue to prove they’re one of the most exciting new bands around right now, blending indie rock, punk, Americana, theatrical chaos and moments of pure musical whiplash into something thrillingly unpredictable.

From the frantic energy of SWEAT to the emotional punch of THE DOG DIES IN THE END, the whole set felt like a collision between a punk gig, travelling cabaret and fever dream.

Frontman Ethan Ramon commanded the room brilliantly, while the entire band brought relentless energy, musicianship and swagger.

Add in Russian and Spanish musical flourishes, a packed room of music obsessives and the historic atmosphere of the 100 Club itself, and this became one of those gigs where you leave feeling like you may just have caught a future cult band before they explode 🎭🎶✨
