Yesterday was bigger than a ribbon cutting. It was the beginning of the next chapter for the Building Empowerment Chamber of Commerce. I am incredibly proud to serve as Vice Chair of an organization that is committed to doing more than simply talking about community. We are ready to put the work in, build meaningful relationships, create opportunities, support businesses and truly be present in the communities we serve. What made yesterday even more special was looking around that room and seeing the amount of support that showed up for BECC. Business owners, community leaders, supporters, friends and representatives from other Chambers of Commerce came out to celebrate this moment with us. That support meant a lot because building a stronger community is not something any one organization can or should do alone. Collaboration matters. I was especially grateful to see our fellow Chambers represented and supporting us. There is room for all of us to work together, share resources, build relationships and create more opportunities for the people and businesses throughout Central Florida. And looking at these pictures, I am so proud of the people I have the privilege of serving alongside. Leadership is not just about having a title. It is about service, responsibility, consistency and being willing to show up when there is work to be done. Yesterday we celebrated. Today, the work continues. We are ready to unite. We are ready to build. We are ready to collaborate. We are ready to serve. Most importantly, we are ready to work WITH our community. I am proud of BECC. I am proud of this team. I am grateful for everyone who showed up to support us yesterday. This is just the beginning. We have work to do, and I am ready.

“Absolutely killer event last night. I made so many connections that truly blew my mind. The quality of people I was needing and able to solve problems for.” That is just 1 example of the messages we received over the past 12 hours… To me, that’s the measure of a successful event. Tuesday night, I had the privilege of co-hosting the @us_mexa Executive Happy Hour alongside Henry Moth at the @citrus_club, bringing together over 100 leaders from government, technology, finance, economic development, and philanthropy. Following the momentum from last week’s Executive Reception at NeoCity, it was exciting to see relationships continue to grow and entirely new conversations begin. A special thank you to the Governor’s team from Quintana Roo, Mexico, for joining us and sharing opportunities to strengthen collaboration between our regions. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that success in networking isn’t about attending more events, it’s about being intentional about the rooms you enter and the relationships you choose to build. When you intentionally bring together people who think big, take action, and genuinely want to help one another, incredible things tend to happen. One conversation can truly change the trajectory of a business. Last night, I watched dozens of them happen. . . . The momentum continues later this month with the USMEXA 100Summit, taking place August 24–27 in Mexico City, where executives, policymakers, and community leaders from both countries will come together to strengthen cross-border relationships and explore new opportunities for business and collaboration. . . If your goal is to surround yourself with high-caliber people, get into the right rooms, and build relationships that lead to real opportunities, I’d love to connect. Let’s find your next room… Image Credits: @portraitsby_mae #BusinessDevelopment #EconomicDevelopment #Networking #RelationshipBuilding

Still taking in everything from the 2026 Vanguard Awards. What stood out most wasn't the decorations, the program, or even the awards themselves. It was the energy in the room. The photos could only tell part of the story. The talent, leadership, resilience, and excellence represented in that room were a reflection of what's happening in our communities every day. We're proud of what was celebrated. We're even more excited about what's next. The work continues. The mission grows. The impact expands. If you'd like to help shape what's coming next, reach out. We'd love to build with you. #BECC #VANGUARDAWARDS Beccouncil.org

THE VANGUARD AWARDS Seeing a room full of people who continue to pour into community every single day, from business leaders, families, entrepreneurs, advocates, professionals, and changemakers all gathered under one roof to celebrate progress, purpose, and each other was a special thing. One of my favorite things about nights like this is being reminded of what's possible when people come together around a shared vision. To everyone who played a role in making the evening possible—thank you. Whether you sponsored, partnered, volunteered, presented, supported behind the scenes, or simply showed up, your contribution helped create an experience that people will remember long after the lights went down. I'm proud of what was celebrated. We're even more excited about what's next. The work continues. The mission grows. The impact expands. If you'd like to help shape what's coming next, reach out. We'd love to build with you. #BECC #VanguardAwards #LetsConnectExploreDiscover

Thankful for another opportunity to showcase the impactful work of local nonprofits at @citrus_club, during The Citrus Social. The Young Executives were honored to partner with @teenchallengesoutheast this month, and help raise awareness for their Annual Gala on October the 5th. At Teen Challenge, the residential programs - rooted in faith, counseling, and community guide individuals out of destructive behaviors or substance-impacted thinking and into a renewed sense of identity and purpose . . . Are you looking to build stronger relationships and grow your business in Central FL? Let’s connect. Let’s do great things together #orlando #networking #nonprofits
