OUR HEARTS ARE FULL (& ON FIRE), @ktagaz is returning to Nepal for our South Asian collab. ❤️‍🔥🖤

Kazi Tahsin Agaz (They/Them, He/Him) is a dynamic organizer, curator, activator, gallerist, visual artist, and journalist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Kazi, the co-founder and CEO of Dwip Gallery, advocates unorthodox art methods and social discourse. They established GHARTERA, a collaborative art space that questions dominant narratives. Kazi, who has worked at The Daily Star for a decade and contributed to The Guardian and The Economist, extensively reports on and works with various communities in Bangladesh to amplify their voices. They are a curator and artist who has led several exhibitions and initiatives, including the MASCULINITY PROJECT.

—

With this project, we, @kiwala_space & Kaalo.EkSeyEk, initiate a transnational community of organisers, facilitators and curators working on the fringe of what is considered the art world, based on the values of sharing experiences, knowledge, and resources - a new and honestly superexciting beginning!

We are inviting a bunch of incredible companions and comrades to exchange in different sessions and workshops, showcase the artists they work with and imagine how this platform can exist and grow in the future.
