As usual when you’re busy being in the present, you end up with not enough pics ! But it’s ok because a time was had at @superchiefgalleryla for the Come Correct Tour hosted by @indoor.records. 🔥💙 Between vending next to this talented babe @painorglorykustomz and my jedi homie @moveinsilenceco, the @officialsugafreethapimp serenading us with all the P I M P hits, and @estevanoriol @eve_mauro and @spinorita gracing us all with their presence, I was elatedddd! 🥹 Thanks for having us @indoor.records and thanks to everyone who made it by to p/u some merch and conversate ! (As I danced in place and snuck a Suga Free lyric or two into our conversation 😂). Y’all made my day! 💕

If we missed each other, we’ll make up for it at the next pop-up!! 🫶🏾 Know you can always visit me @dxcollective and my Etsy shop ✨ link in bio!

Five weeks ago: I had the rug pulled from under me in a company wide layoff. Simultaneously I got hit with the worst cold virus ever
Four weeks ago: I was coming out of my death bed, still battling the virus but returning to flight or fight mode
Three weeks ago: I was back in my tool box, combing through my closet and archive, hand picking gems I could bring myself to part with
Two weeks ago: I’d curated a batch of offerings and went hard refreshing, photographing, posting, and keeping my attachment issues on check
One week ago: I’d witnessed my community rise to the occasion helping me sell thru all of batch one organically, mano a mano 🤝🏾

The most humbling, stressful, reflective, action driven, pride filled, nerve wracking, exciting last few weeks. 🥹

Thank you for confirming what I believed in my heart to be true, that things made in love, will not only hold value, but withstand the test of time. 💗

Every piece you’re buying from me now, is a time stamp of @dxcollective. Representative of different time periods, struggles, hustle, investment, and most of all a labor of love. The amazing collaborative efforts of artists, printers, felt letterers, tailors, embroiderers, blank suppliers, finishing houses, and my own trial & errors that all enabled me to bring so many ideas & visions to life. 💡

All this to say, while producing in bulk may be on pause, I will continue leaning into the light to find my people with offerings from the heart. If you got dibs on anything I put up recently, thank you for welcoming my hustle with open arms and being my sails on rough waters. Love you all! 🫶🏾

P.s. One-offs were always my thing ✨

~ D ❤️
