“Bro how do I get ahead?”

Start by growing up in Maryland. Try things. Take opportunities. Seek help from those who have done want you want to do at a high level. Dedicate your time to the craft of getting good at a skill set (like sales) with high earnings. Go to college for a few years and find out what you do and don’t want. Work odd jobs to fund your life while you figure out what you want. Realize that trading your time for an hourly wage isn’t the life you want. Try door-to-door sales and think it sounds too good to be true. F around and find out that it can and will change your life if you let it. You start to gain perspective. Educate yourself on the business. Surround yourself with the right people. Take the leap. Start knocking doors six days a week for 3-4 months. Get rejected so damn much. Have doors slammed in your face. Question whether you’re even cut out for it. Then realize the real opportunity isn’t just the money. It’s the skill you’re building, the discipline you’re developing, and the person you’re becoming. Stop chasing the paycheck and start mastering the craft. Fast-forward a couple of years, and those multiple six figure earning summers and immense impact you’re having that once sounded impossible become your reality.

Everybody wants to be put on. The “on” is find the right people and get to work.

With like minded motivated people around you; how can you not win? 6x my last summer, brother is #1 rookie, dream car and more important than any of that: a disciplined mind. I went out to spring block this year on February 9th. My family gave me $200 cash on my way to Texas when I was picking up sam. They had no idea that money allowed me to buy groceries for my first 2 weeks of selling. $25k in credit card debt and bills 2 months past due. When you are at rock bottom the only way to go is up. However, an object in motion stays in motion, and progress compounds. If executed correctly this force will push you farther up than you could ever imagine. Crazy how much can change in a year. No excuses, no regret, just hard work. Just. Hard. Work.

Grit Gala 2026 🌹🦬 it’s so fun to celebrate all the people we work with and their hard work!! The summers aren’t very glamorous or sexy for us but they are character building for everyone involved. I’m so grateful for a wife @abbie.hafen who loves and supports me and all my brothers who bet on me and griff this year. By far this was my favorite year working @the___grit and it’s the people who make it so amazing. I was asked the other day if I like my job and my response was that I really do love it. I work with leaders who are constantly trying to improve in all aspects of their lives, I get to help coach, train, and lead incredible people. Nothing I wouldn’t do for my NY boys ❤️. And a super huge shout out to my partners @dylan.hafen and @jacob.griffith4 who work so hard along side me and uplift our people. NY🔁YN❤️🦬. So so proud of you boys 🫶🏼
