Cat’s out the bag, tap in!!!

Dylan & I are proud to Introduce our new label @manuka.recordings with the first single live now from the incredible Summer Vee . She laid these vocals down so quick in 2020, on a weekend afternoon in Grafton. Had me blown away!! Outs to Julien and JY for their contributions 🥁 and 🎷 wise, Morgan on the mix and Josh on the heavy master & vinyl cuts!!

We want to whakamana the origins of the soulful sound we’re inspired by. With all credit to the Black musicians and history that formed it, from our musical connection and context here in Aotearoa.

🔑 Pre-orders are available for the 10” featuring B-Side ‘Judas’ through Bandcamp, releasing in full on 2nd September 🔑

Link in the usual place!

It's not everyday you get the likes of Greyson Fletcher and Tom Schaar at your local - check out manualmagazine.com for a gallery from their demos at Victoria Park and Mangawhai. Photo by Dylan Cook.
