2023 has been a year full of real friendships.

The most pure, loving, authentic friendships.

I cannot wait to grow with these people for life 🤗💗

This ENERGY ⭐️

It makes my eyes water thinking about December of last year and the deep desire I had for community.

I was seeking connection, resonance, tribe…

I was craving full expression and acceptance.

I needed to do something differently and I followed my intuition and ended up exactly where I was supposed to be @fitforservice 🙏🏼

There are few places I feel more myself than when I’m dancing with these humans! I love you all so much and I’m so grateful for every moment we spend together.

This was my first music festival, but it won’t be my last. Arkadia was an extraordinary, sacred celebration of this holy life and the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible!

Until next time y’all! 🪩🕺🏻💃🏻

SN: January Katie would be mind blown at December Katie! 😂🤯 We’ve come a long way, folks!

I’m still getting to know this version of ME. She’s so much more than what you see.

She’s rage and grief and pain and fire. She’s pleasure and chaos and wild desire.

This expression has always existed somewhere within, but got lost in the other places I’ve been.

I made a commitment, I signed a contract to myself. That love would be the only measure of wealth.

And I’ve healed and I’ve worked to right my wrongs, I’ve danced in different circles, I listen to new songs.

And yet another part of me finds her way in the room, she begs not to be left behind - she still wants to consume.

She says she’s not chosen and she’s simply not enough. She said this is too easy, please make it rough.

And so she goes back to the darkness and back to the pain, and it always plays out exactly the same.

This time she got me real good. So many in the tribe that won’t leave me, she found the one that would.

And she begged for his mercy, she begged for his love. But he always tends to leave when push comes to shove.

And despite the tears in her eyes and the hurt in her heart, she tried to remember that this is just ONE PART.

See, the me that you see here, I’m just getting to know. And there’s so much more of ME that I want to show.

She laughs in a volume that’s really, really, high, and she howls at the beautiful moon in the sky.

She’s freedom and wisdom and sex and bliss. Shes inspiration, a dream, a muse, and a wish.

She’s raw and courageous, I know that’s she’s true. She’s the future, the present, and every challenge she’s been through.

I know some saw this version of me before she was ever expressed. I was attached to the old me, I must confess.

And I’ve never felt more seen and accepted before NOW, and I’m opening my heart up as wide as she’ll allow ❤️

So when you see me let’s dance, let’s sing, let’s make art!

I know deep in my bones this is only the start ❤️🙏🏼

Thank you @arkadiafestival, @fitforservice, and my inspiration @thepoetqueen for lighting my fire. And all the people in my tribe that saw me before I truly saw myself! I love you 😘
