Some athletes survive Frontline OCR.

Chad Coleman attacked it fast enough that, during one of his appearances, a race reviewer attempting to follow him wrote that they had trouble keeping up—even while riding an ATV.

That tells you almost everything you need to know.

Across multiple appearances in the Special Forces Division, Chad earned multiple podium finishes while consistently retaining his vest and each time doing it against the toughest competition this race has ever had to offer.

At Frontline, those are not minor accomplishments buried inside a larger athletic résumé. The vest does not care what you have accomplished anywhere else. It only stays with the athlete who can run, carry, climb, problem-solve and execute while exhaustion attempts to strip all of it away.

Chad not only repeatedly proved that he could, but has proven how much this race was truly at the top of its game when he was at the start line.

There was no wasted movement and very little hesitation. He possessed the speed to separate himself, the obstacle proficiency to protect that speed and the composure to prevent Frontline from collecting what he came there to defend.

Chad has since transitioned into HYROX and now coaches at @roxperformance, but his name remains part of Frontline history. While plenty of talented athletes have arrived believing they were prepared to carry that vest, Frontline has a way of exposing the difference between wearing one at the starting line and earning the right to leave with it.

Chad Coleman understood that difference.

We would love to see him return to Frontline someday and remind everyone what that looked like.

We will just need to install a few boosters on those ATVs before he gets here.

Omg Yall! Finally coming out of the woodworks and making my SWEDEN post! 🦢
I'll keep it short! I had a blast with both of my friends/partners!! Back to back races in less than 24 hours, I too ( like almost every single one of you ) have no PB or PR's to report. I could never get used to the 6 hour time difference and the 20 hours of sunlight in this region. My body clock was upset with me and it absolutely affected my energy and performance. The hot arena was fine for me , I'm used to the 90s high humidity here in FL. The dicey turns on uneven surface did slow everyone down, I just thought of it as an obstacle course.
It never felt like "the big race". It didn't feel real. It felt like a sim day both days. Once the weekend ended, I felt like, "Can we All get A Re-Do now? I'm ready! 😄 Let's all come back to the Strawberry Arena the following weekend and re-do this! I'm awake now! Haha Ohh if it were that easy!

We had a blast watching the elite events and a blast seeing our friends. I should have taken way more photos with everyone and will remember to do this in the future. I'm excited to AGE UP in a month and excited for Washington DC and Denver races!! It was a pleasure watching many of you run around that arena and I'm proud to be part of this fun, fit community! There's nothing like it! Big Hugs guys and cheers to the end of a great season, and the upcoming 2027 season 💥💥💥 #hyrox #runner
