🔊☝🏽Like many other Hip Hop fans early 80's, this 16yr old was already in it for life, (Mixcloud link in bio), music compilations, especially the STREETSOUNDS ELECTRO series, opened our ears to what was out there, a perfect cross-section of artists, lables, DJs, producers were absorbed from comps' then unloaded on the staff at the city IMPORT STORE to order, 12" versions and albums in the next shipment.
https://www.mixcloud.com/GeoffBlunted/
The ELECTROSTYLE Mega-mixed in 1986-87 on 2 x Sony belt drive turntables, (the ones with the dial-pitch potentiometers), 2 tape decks, Yamaha channel mixer, recorded to a SHARP GF-800 Dual cassette portable stereo. (The best manual 'pause button" responce I could find).

You will hear some of these 12" alternate versions, sometimes mixed with the "already blended" cuts straight off the Electro comp's, thats 3 tracks at once, plus doo-dads from the tape deck dropped in.

Shouts to the WholeMeal Posse, and Biz (Brian), we hosted #just2def #hiphopshow on community radio #4zzz for the year of 1988.

Wired for Sound and Spoilt for Choice!! "...and Brian on bass...", My dad and I diggin' the day away and catching up with some Brisbane legends, John @monsterrobot_party, and Cliff @the.groove.man Red Hill plus more.
Dad is the voice you hear on the Blunted Stylus track "GONE BEZERK" answering machine ☎️ message from decades ago. Cuts by DJ Complex (3-Remaster) vinyl LP.
As a kid growing up in the 70s with dads' Sansui headphones on, I'd already had a lifetimes worth of #apache from listening to #theshadows. #recordstores #vinyl4sale #recordplayer #foreveryoung #doyourselfafavor #samples #diggininthecrates #breakbeats #toughguys

Test pressing of the Sydtematics - what we did on our holidays. This was Patrick Gibson's personal copy of only 5 produced. Interesting referenced here as AP ( artists proof ) ...fair enough.
