POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

New workshops for Autumn and Winter @e7movement now up on the schedule - the middle Sunday of the month 3-5pm.

• 18th Oct - ❤️A heart opening gentle floor based flow and guided meditation. Come to this one if you want to unravel your tense and tired shoulders, neck and back and calm your busy mind.

• 15th Nov - 🦶🏼Balance & Focus. Do you always feel wobbly on your feet in standing postures? In this workshop we will learn how to use breath, our gaze and our feet and ankles better to find our balance.

• 13th Dec - 🌀Somatic Flow! This one is for those of you who want to shake out all the stagnant energy in your bodies. We will move in waves, spirals and circles through familiar and new yoga style postures and flows to wake up and let go of all that heavy Winter baggage!

As always, each workshop closes with a yoga Nidra, a deep relaxing guided meditation ✨

Every Wednesday 6-7pm join me for Dance Flow @e7movement in Forest Gate. Booking: https://www.e7movement.com/. Dance Flow invites you to discover your body and dance in community. Exploring through guided improvisation, somatic movement and Contemporary Dance we deeply inhabit the body, trusting our inherent ability to dance and cultivating our individual curiosity and expression. What to expect?
We begin with grounding exercises to release tension and create space in the body. We explore movement principles that expand awareness and possibility; circling, spiralling, undulating, folding, yielding, reaching, expanding. We awaken the spine, engage the pelvis, articulate connections through the body that allow you to fly and fall through space. We use the floor, we build strength, flexibility, coordination and most importantly JOY and connection to each other.

A flavour of how postnatal yoga classes have been starting this week. (Sped up 4x)

What’s your body craving at the moment?

Movement from when you feel ready for a bit more than an impromptu stretch, paired with plenty of rest and essential breath connection. I’m always happy to hold your baby and give you a moment to be in your body.

It’s half term this week so I’m on a skeleton schedule and mainly seeking shade or water.

Postnatal classes will be back in as usual next week:

Forest Gate:
Tuesdays @e7movement at 10-11am in this beautiful movement space

Walthamstow:
Mondays 11am-12
Fridays 12-1pm
Both at Trinity Church, Orford Road. Book on my site or drop in.

Let me know in the comments , drop me a question anytime and see you soon x

Thank you to everyone who came out for last night’s Comedy Night — it was such a fun evening with brilliant acts, and thanks to you all we raised a fantastic amount for the school. Who knew a Wednesday-night PTA event could empty the bar so quickly!

A huge thank you to @thatlaurasmyth bringing an amazing line up of comedians and of course for her own stella stage presence.

To round off our Winter fundraising, we’ve launched the Woodgrange Winter Raffle — with 34 fantastic prizes to be won! Tickets are just £1 and can be purchased via the link ink bio. Please do share with friends and family!
