Voted #1 tasting room in the US. World-class wines and culinary experiences. Virginia through and through.

In “Dreamland: Virginia,” Lettie Teague captures the delights, challenges and occasional oddities of Virginia wine—a place whose diversity makes it fascinating to explore and difficult to explain in a soundbite. Lettie joined us as the inaugural Early Mountain Vineyards Wine Writer Fellow, spending time with winemakers, walking vineyards and exploring well beyond the estate. Her piece in Wine in Words gave me plenty to think about, even as someone whose job is to help tell this region’s story. Another article will follow in The New York Sun. Helping create and carry out this Fellowship, and spending those days together in Virginia, ranks among the proudest moments of my career. Thank you, Lettie, and the Early Mountain team. #earlymountainvineyard #journalism #winepr #virginawine #fellowship

From tailgate energy to black-tie ready. 👔🏈 Who says getting ready photos have to be serious? Incorporating your favorite hobbies—whether it’s a pre-ceremony toss, a custom sports jersey, or team socks—adds so much authentic personality to your photo gallery. Pro Tip for Grooms: If you’re doing an outdoor activity before getting into your tux, schedule it first in your timeline! That way you stay fresh, calm, and 100% on schedule for first look photos. • • 📸: @makaelaskinnerphoto 💒: @earlymountain @earlymountainweddings 🎥: @wakefield_films 🎤: @djstandout 🌹: @ritasrosesva #DusktoDawnEventsNOVA #northernvirginiaweddingplanner #northernvirginiaweddings #virginiaweddingplanner

Could do this everyday at @earlymountain. Today’s wine spotlight? The 2021 RISE. Reserved for only the finest vintages, 2021 RISE is a testament to uncompromising quality. Crafted from the most meticulously farmed fruit grown on our mountainside vineyards, it embodies the essence of excellence and exclusivity. RISE is not only our most powerful wine but also one of the most nuanced and intricate. It brings to life our overarching philosophy to balance power, concentration, and texture with aromatic complexity, detail and flavors. Dynamic and dense aromas of Damson plum, wild blackberries, and cassis, elegantly layer with notes of cedar, cacao, and forest floor. An exercise in balance-persistent and densely structured tannin and well-integrated acidity highlight the purity of our Quaker Run vineyard site. #winelover #winedaily #winelovers #winehumor #winejokes

Virginia lovers, raise a glass. 🍷 @travelandleisure is spotlighting @earlymountain —and Virginia is home to more than 300 wineries. Early Mountain was also voted the No. 1 tasting room in the U.S. in 10 Best Readers’ Choice awards—and I can see why. 🤍 With October being Virginia Wine Month, there’s even more reason to make a wine country escape part of your fall plans. 🍂 For those of us who love @visitvirginia, it’s a lovely reminder to keep exploring close to home—and make time for an afternoon that turns into a favorite memory. Save this for your next wine country escape. One more reason to love Virginia.

Five fall weekends, and none of them need more than a tank of gas from Lynchburg, Virginia. Comment FALL and I’ll send you my Fall Lynchburg Guide. Keswick is 60 minutes away, and the focaccia at the restaurant Marigold is reason enough to go. Carter Mountain Orchard just outside Charlottesville is closer than you’d think at 60 minutes. The Blue Ridge Parkway is the drive to take the week the leaves peak, and 12 Ridges Winery gets you the best view in central Virginia. Finish the month at The Tides Inn before it gets quiet for the winter. Living in Lynchburg means all five are an easy day trip. You can be home in time for dinner in Boonsboro. Comment FALL, and I’ll send you my Fall Lynchburg Guide. Laura Hengerer, a Lynchburg, Virginia real estate agent providing not only distinctive representation, but also helping you unlock the lifestyle you long for. Serving Lynchburg, Boonsboro, Forest, and the greater Central Virginia area. John Stewart Walker, Inc www.johnstewartwalker.com

We definitely did eat the ribs with our hands… compliments to the chef! Vermillion in Old Town Alexandria makes the best elevated American cuisine! Pair that with some of the best wines made in Virginia and you’ve made an absolutely spectacular night! They do have another wine dinner Oct 15th with the wine maker from Barboursville! I highly recommend you reserve your seat!! #virginiawines #americancusine
