I am thrilled to announce that we are continuing our movement education work post #earthmonthconvergence !!! 🌍🌱Earth Month Convergence🐛 🌎 Join us April 18–19 | 12–5PM at Socrates Sculpture Park. ✨ Free food, workshops, music, and art builds ✨ Open to all ages ✨ Rooted in community, creativity, and collective care I have the utmost honor to design the 2026 anniversary logo for EMC! This spiral represents the interdependence of all beings on this land, how our stewardship is met with reciprocity and how we are connected in our actions. When @earth.convergence reached out to me to collab with them on making a flash sheet and 2026 Earth Month logo, I exclaimed with so much enthusiasm because I’ve been hoping to contribute more in the intersectional environmentalist and solar punk movement. I am so touched my art and reverend for nature spoke to them and now I can be a part of fund raising for this amazing org! Originally we planned to have me tattoo this flash sheet at the event next weekend but due to parks regulation I will be hosting the flash days at @yarrow.studio in May-June and through out the year. We will have sign up sheets and temporary tattoos at the event for you to get familiar with which designs you want. 30% of what I make from all EMC Flash and temp tattoo sales will go to EMC. The Earth Month Convergence is a youth-led, community gathering rooted in environmental justice, Indigenous leadership, and collective care. For five years, organizers, artists, educators, healers, and neighbors have come together each April to exchange knowledge, build relationships, and strengthen movement infrastructure. Through hands-on workshops, shared meals, creative practice, and strategy spaces, the Convergence creates room to reconnect, reflect, and organize for what’s next — together.

Join us April 18–19 | 12–5PM at Socrates Sculpture Park This year, we're deep diving into three powerful tracks inspired by this year's theme-- 🦫 The Beaver, Ecosystem Engineers: 🌱 Land Stewardship — explore how we can reshape our environments to support life, starting right where we are. 💻 Community-Directed Tech — an invitation to participants into a playful, hands-on space for imagining and building community-controlled tech. 🌀 Spirit, Memory, Archives — reflect with us on the cultural memory that sustains generations.

NEW DATE! Due to some logistical bits and bobs, we are moving the seedling exchange to Saturday, 4/18 from 1-5pm! Still at Socrates and still part of the @earth.convergence. Sorry for the switcheroo! If you can only come on Sunday, we'll still be there with any leftover seedlings from Saturday but it will be more of a self managed table without folks there to answer qs. Also, if you have seeds but not seedlings, please do bring seeds too! Or any gardening related goods that you have in excess or don't need anymore. Looking forward to seeing y'all in the park! Stay cool or warm or whatever the weather requires, and stay breathing and resting and also engaged with the political forest fire we're in.

ATTN FRIENDS, DUE TO WEATHER REPORTS OF RAIN FOR SUNDAY, @quilt_for_palestine will be shown on SATURDAY, APRIL 18th!! Register for free event @earthmonthconvergence During these past two years, it has been devastating to learn more about how, as @susanabulhawa aptly said, that Israel is jealous of Palestinian indigeneity. She explains how threatened Israel is by Palestine having the receipts of their deep ties to the land, that we can see in Palestine’s food, art, music, dabke and tatreez. This hate has manifested in illegal occupation, genocide and unforgivable cruelty against the Palestinian people. The @quilt_for_palestine came out of a conversation between international artists and activists about the impact of Zionism on art. It has been an act of solidarity with Palestine to create, expand and share this massive work of public art. This dialogue is made even more meaningful when in conversation with the art, expressions, ritual and community-building that happens each year with indigenous speakers and artists from across the Americas sharing traditions and visions for a future that respects Mother Earth and it’s inhabitants. This reminder each year that earth.convergence begs for us to contemplate a matriarchal world free from endless capitalist wars and supremacy, where we all can be right with the land and each other. Tall order? Maybe. But I dare you to come explore it with us at Socrates Sculpture Park on April 19th. SAVE THE DATE! More to come on details of the event. If you are an artist in NYC wanting to contribute a new square to the ever-growing @quilt_for_palestine or you would like to help photograph and sew the latest additions, please dm us asap! Each square is 40 x40 inch image with a 1 inch border for sewing, and the dominant color palette is the Palestinian flag colors. Share your love and intentions for a free Palestine with the world. 🆓🇵🇸❤️‼️ Check out the full FREE program and RSVP for Earth Convergence to see the Quilt for 🇵🇸 on April 19th only earth.convergence and in my #linkinbio
