Kennebunkport, you were perfect 🤎🍁⛳️ Steal my two-day Kennebunkport fall itinerary!

Day 1:
Drop your bags off at @kennebunkportcaptains and explore the property before wandering around Dock Square. Then head to your 6pm dinner reservation at @whitebarnauberge (the pumpkins in the display are REAL!)

Day 2:
Start with a homemade breakfast and local coffee at the hotel, then grab a bike and ride over to Ocean Ave. The views are beautiful!

Head back to the room to change into your golf clothes and make your 11am tee time at @capearundelgolfclub Just a heads-up, the putting here will humble you 😂

After golf, head back to the hotel to shower and get ready for your 6pm dinner reservation at @earthathiddenpond

We had such a nice Maine getaway over the long weekend. We stayed in Ogunquit at the lovely @meadowmereresort.

If you’re looking for a quintessential New England coastal fall escape (after South County, RI, of course) with Hallmark movie/Stars Hollow vibes - Southern coastal Maine is it.

Day 1:

First stop: @congdonsdoughnuts for a much needed coffee and a sugar boost. The maple cream filled donut and the maple glazed were the best doughnuts ever.

Then I wanted to hit up @perkinscovebookshop where I found a book called Westerly by a Maine author with a main character named Faye. It was a sign.

Next we explored Perkins Cove where I searched and luckily found a swimsuit (because I forgot mine) so I could go in our heated indoor pool.

Dinner at @nikanosogunquit for excellent Greek food.

Back to the hotel for a cozy fire after a dip in the pool.

Day 2:

Breakfast at @eggandiogunquit - a classic that has been there since 1979 and doesn’t disappoint.

Walked the Marginal Way.

York for the obligatory Nubble Lighthouse visit. Then into town for nostalgic candy shops. Watched the last batch of salt water taffy being made at @goldenrod1896 and got an egg cream to go.

Off to Kennybunkport to wander in and out of one cute shop after another. Stopped for a coffee and visited @lupinebooksmaine where I discovered an illustrated Kittybunkport book perfect for my god daughter for Christmas.

Then @hiddenpond and @earthathiddenpond for cocktails and apps. I have been wanting to check this out for some time. Next time, we will stay there.

Dinner at @angelinas_ogt for italian food. I got their signature dish which is homemade pappardelle with lobster, shrimp & scallops in a creamy sauce. Homemade wild Maine blueberry pie with gelato. 🧑‍🍳

Day 3:

Breakfast at @greenerycafe where hubs got the lobster & brie omelette which was insanely delicious and decadent.

We grabbed an extra coffee at @morningsinparisogt and a selection of croissants for the road.

Time to check out. Very sad but it was now drizzling and we had a long drive ahead and 3 lonely kitties waiting for us. But we did stop in Kittery for some retail therapy before commiting to going home

Beyond excited to head to Maine this weekend and experience all the magic of fall in one of my favorite places! Think colorful fall foliage, crisp autumn air, cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice everything, and the most scenic views!! 🤎 There’s just something so special about Maine’s natural beauty, charming coastal towns, and endless outdoor adventure! Need a destination that inspires you to get outside and explore…add Maine to the list! 🍁

Another much overdue two part post for @hiddenpond in Kennebunkport, Maine. I photographed this beautiful property twice this year. Couldn’t have done without the genius crew of @basementtoilet @rachelepelkey @stephieschafer @rachanastas @amandasejda and obviously my other fellow tall dude and lighting star @thruthebeach @digitalarea on amazing retouching as always and @smashboxstudios for the best gear in town.

Thanks to all involved, this was a meaningful shoot for me.

save this video for the ultimate long weekend guide to the southern coast of maine! early october was truly the perfect time to visit with less crowds and the beginning of fall foliage peaking through. absolutely in love with this place, and definitely won’t be my last visit!
