Thank you @ckuaradio for this write-up about my forthcoming album 💚🍀🌱 After over a year of having Green and Trying mastered in my headphones, September 25 can’t come soon enough. Also delighted by these new press photos by the wonderful @rebwednesday, assist from @lojackhorsethem, with perfect jeans from @shopsiista, C stand donated by @eastcherry, fabric given as a hand-me-down originally belonging to JB’s Nonna, and location courtesy of my back alley ⭐️

Three years ago I wanted to screen my first short film in front of friends + family, cast and crew. However, asking everyone to come to a theatre for a 10-minute short film felt like overkill, and so I started talking to other local filmmakers to see if they wanted to join in and showcase their work on the big screen as well - and so a short film exhibition was born.

For the past two years we’ve filled The Cinematheque (a local cinema) with local films from local artists with all additional proceeds going to a local charity. Everything about the event has been community focused, and for the past two years we’ve sold out The Cinematheque and raised over $5,000 for the DTES Women’s Centre.

This year, the exhibition has a name: RODA (hoh-dah).
Since ya boi is now fluent in Portuguese, and my heart is half Brazilian, it only made sense to name this event in Portuguese. Roda is a circle or gathering of people coming together to share something - that could be art, music, or culture. It felt pretty fitting for what this event has become.

What’s also new about this year is that we are growing.
With support from @cereal_post, @eastcherry, @thirdrodeopictureco and @tvdinnershop - all local and incredible businesses (unbiased opinion) - I am very excited to say that ALL ticket sales from Roda will go directly to the DTES Women’s Centre.

TV Dinner will also be joining us the day of the event for pre-show drinks + bites at The Cinematheque, and in the month leading up to Roda, a portion of their drip + iced coffee sales will go to the Women’s Centre.

September 26 at The Cinematheque
Short films · Q&A · Community awards
Submissions are now open :)

If you are a local Vancouver filmmaker and made something you want to show on the big screen, please send it our way <3

Highlighting a project we're super proud of that was a mad dash to get done, but we did it with "dynamisme" as the French say. Speaking of, Bare went from our screens to the French Riviera as part of @telefilm_canada’s Not Short on Talent showcase at Cannes 2026! Currently on its festival run :)

We thought it wise to highlight a few moments we love from this campaign for @dometic @dometic_marine - a global post project across 4 continents :)

We also love when we're lucky enough to work with @kitalewilson and @austinrayfilm - a power duo on both land and at sea 😤.

Nature has always been the greatest engineer.

The DG3 Gyro-Stabiliser was shaped by the same forces it was built to control.

— motion, balance, and the raw power of the ocean.

Refined through open-water testing.

Built for real conditions.

The Voyage is live.

Every journey starts somewhere. For the DG3 Gyro-Stabiliser, it started in engineering rooms, on factory floors, and out on the open water, long before it ever reached you.

This is the story behind the most significant product Dometic Marine has ever released.

Designed in Voyage, for your voyage.

DG3 wasn’t built from a spec sheet.

It was shaped by the sea, refined through years of testing, and pushed to its limits in the Pacific Northwest.

Because when the people building the technology are also the ones feeling every wave, every correction, and every moment of stillness, innovation gets real fast.

Celebrating campaign launch week looking back on shoot week. 5 years capped in the job this month & this has been one of my favourites. Everyone gets to see the polished final result now but wowee that was well & truly a big ol job. Final slide is the person that has held it all together for me along the way. What a woman 🤍
