More than a thousand years it is since
She was beautiful; she trod the waving grass.
She saw the clouds. A thousand years!
The grass is still the same,
the clouds as lovely as they were that time
When sweet Deirdre was alive.

I waited 8 years to stand here and take these photos. Getting old ideas out of my head has made me feel lighter. My camera is busted again, waiting to replace it when I can. But I'm happy. I feel peaceful. I've been patient. I'll keep doing that.

ANYWAY...This 11x17 print "Magpie-Lark" and its companion "Barn Swallow" will be at Attleboro Arts museum this winter. A reception/open house will be held on Sat., December 11th, 2021; 1pm – 4pm. Hope to see you there. 🖤

"I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air... " - John Magee, poet and pilot killed in flight over england in 1941

Thank you @destmacc for letting me lay low with you and helping me with so many photos. I love you 💛🫂

Our little man is so loved and we couldn't be more thankful! Thank you @actuallyalison and @sarahasclass for putting together such an amazing celebration for us. And a huge thank you to everyone who was able to come out and spoil baby Hyrum! We are set and ready to make our new house a home with all the special gifts, books, and love poured into everything he got today. He'll be here before we know it! 🥰💙
