Eureka Day closed today at The Huntington Theatre, and with the end of its run, our 25/26 season has also come to a close. We want to extend our deepest gratitudes to everyone who played a part in bringing this production to life. We are extremely fortunate to have worked with such talented actors and artisans every day of this process. To everyone who contributed to the success of this season, without your efforts and dedication we simply would not be where we find ourselves today. We thank you and look forward to working together again. To our audience members, donors, and community members, thank you for your continued support and for another wonderful season of theatre! We will see you again soon!

100,000 views. I never expected The Color Happy to reach this many people. And the comments…some of them nearly moved me to tears. Words like beautiful, heartbreaking, compassionate, hopeful and healing have stayed with me. Thank you for watching and feeling this with us. This is why stories matter. #gratitude • #thecolorhappy #shortfilm #indiefilm #filmmaking

60,000 Views. The Color Happy was made on a small budget. Drawn from personal experiences, I hoped it would connect with a few people. Seeing it pass 60k views on YouTube and reading the comments has moved me more than I can say. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to watch this moving film about redemption. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it, link is in bio. • #thecolorhappy #shortfilm #awardwinningshortfilm #indiefilm #actorlife

From the hilariously chaotic antics of The Play That Goes Wrong, swinging next to the Pulitzer Prize-winning knockout beauty of Primary Trust, pivoting to the pure, unfiltered joy of the creative process with [title of show], and beginning Season 31 with the Vermont premiere of the barb-stinging and big-hearted The Garbologists, 2025 has been quintessential Vermont Stage. Witty, wise, and accessible, we thrive on bringing the best contemporary, professional theatre to the state. Please consider giving a tax-deductible donation to Vermont Stage this year. Even the smallest amount will help us with our innovative education programs (our inaugural Suitcase Stage production last week was a smash!) and mainstage season (Up next: the indelible fun and suspense of Murder on the Orient Express). Thank you to everyone who made it out for week one of The Garbologists We had such a wonderful outpouring of love from many of you, and we couldn't be more humbled by your support and enthusiasm for the show. We’re thrilled to share some reviews from fellow audience members, and several images that highlight the stunning scenic design and props. Check it out! "Loved the play. An amazing set. I couldn't believe the working garbage truck. Excellent acting and a great story." "Ohhhh, we really enjoyed it! Incredible acting, great stage set, and a timely story. Loved it! "Great production. As always, an amazing stage set. Garbage trucks have such complex anatomy. And the two actors showed regret, determination, and humor with great verve. "I loved, loved the play! Both actors did a superb job. The garbage truck setting in NYC, perfect. The unfolding of the stories the characters carried, so well done! Thank you for this production." The Garbologists runs until October 12. More info and tix in bio. 📸 Lindsay Raymondjack Photography.

Opening night of The Garbologists! This show is a love letter to the quirks of being human. Commonality, communication, a working three-ton truck, and piles of garbage and gaffaws, buckle up for a physically compelling joyride with equal parts quick wit and profound wisdom. What a joyful way to open Season 31. We fell for The Garbologists on the page—and then we met two terrific actors we’re thrilled to welcome into the Vermont Stage family. Add a set with a realistic, rumbly truck and you’ve got a big-hearted comedy with some serious lift (see what we did there?!). Check out the official preview video of the play (with sets still in progress) to get a sense of the show. The preview gives a glimpse of what’s onstage: pride in everyday work and the way that humor and good fun can open the door to unexpected connection. The Garbologists begins this THURSDAY, September 25. We hope you’ll join us for this one. More info and tix in bio.
