Still soaking in the joy from Roman’s birthday bash.. a week of nonstop celebrations that filled our hearts (and house) with laughter, poolside fun, and the kind of memories we’ll cherish forever. Thankful to Professor Moyd for moderating our discussion.

As subject matter experts on the issue of children with incarcerated parents, we see ourselves as Partners, Not Just Participants. We personally understand, there is no one better than us to advocate for us. As our moniker states, #WEGOTUSNOW and we will remain at the forefront of educating and engaging the future leaders of tomorrow about supportive solutions against harms that children experience as a result of having a parent incarcerated for as long as jails and prisons exist.

A Celebration of Second Chances ~

Last week, WE celebrated the reunification of families through second chances in Washington,DC.
It was wonderful to bear witness to the energy of LOVE & LIFE that filled the Great Hall at the Department of Justice. Watching many of the people in the room who were once locked behind prison walls, with no avenue for relief, alongside their families, legal advocates and allies. The Joy was palpable and hearing the stories of the successful lives all of these individuals are living on the outside makes it more apparent that..... People deserve Second Chances!
