Here are my non-negociables to keep myself feeling
GOOD on Holiday.

1. WALK EVERYWHERE.

Move Your Body!

This particular trip, our resort property was massive and trams were offered and shuttles.

You be your 💸 we chose our feet as means of
transportation when the option was there.

2. HYDRATE

Start each AM with water, I do this at home and it does not change when I’m away, before ANYTHING else.

Drink coconut water (we had many flavors, this not being my fav but it was the pic I have)

3. CREATE A ROUTINE

For me this keep my rhythm even is a changed up environment.

Nothing is worse than your gut causing you issues, sleep issues, skin flare ups, so find a routine.

COMMENT “on holiday” for my specific AM/PM holiday routine.

4. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

Ooooo this is so important. It sounds simple but a lot of us ignore our own cues.

Perhaps you were out in the sun, or walked far, the time difference is catching up, whatever it is, there are so many nuances that can cause you to need to REST...

On the other hand we want to keep pushing and exploring and “getting it all in”.

Making the active choice to choose rest is so important to staying healthy.

Get out of the FOMO mindset, what you are meant to se and explore will be there, and if something doesn’t work out, then it is not meant for this holiday.

Take pride in choosing rest.

5. EXPLORE LOCAL MARKETS

We generally like to find local honey/herbs/tea or salt, we will use it on holiday and then pack an entire bag of what we love.

I love diving into local organic and/clean items (skincare too), this trip we made our way home with a large bag of local items.

You not only support local businesses and economy, you are often get to speak with locals and learn about them/ feel the culture and enjoy products that are actually clean and good for you!

I like where you’re going with this. I’d make it a little tighter and more reflective:

Birthdays are a 12-day celebration in our family. 🎂✨

Each day represents one month of the year ahead.

It’s a time to reflect on where I’ve been, but also to look forward and ask myself “What do I want this next chapter to feel like?”

This is the season for saying yes. For taking chances. For moving my body. For getting out of my comfort zone. For trying something new, learning a new skill, and spending time with the people I love most.

Every year, I try to create moments that set the energy for the next 12 months.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

Life isn’t always easy. There are seasons that test you. There are moments that hurt, stretch, and challenge you.

But I can honestly say that life continues to get better.

The older I get, the more comfortable I become in my own skin. The more grateful I am for the people around me. The more I realize that some of the best chapters haven’t happened yet.

So here’s to another trip around the sun. ☀️

And here’s my unsolicited recommendation: adopt the 12 Days of Birthday tradition.

A little January Photo Dump because it’s flown by in a blink of an eye.

Starting the year in Greece was so refreshing and magical.

Since then life has been exponentially fast paced but I have still had many moments to snuggle up & enjoy life’s sweet moments.

Grateful all the love and light in my life. Even more thrilled about what this action packed year has in store.

Cheer to you & let this year be a year to move mountains and accomplish things that you have only dreamed of.

Remember to feed the wolf inside you that is leading you to your goals, pushing you past fear and staying true to yourself/stand up for yourself.

I was sad/mad I didn’t hold up to my own word of 14 days of fitness in Greece but I realized the experience was the point.

It is magic.

It is laughter.

It is new beginnings.

It is Delcious foods & drinks.

It is eye candy.

It is desert & Raki after every meal.

It is crisp.

It is real.

It is perfect.

It is Greece.

Coming back at you with a full dose of life & new energy.

Yes, I said we are walking everywhere to get snacks 😂

Emily laughed at this, but the amount of walking, pretty much like all of our foreign trips, include a trade out of some days in a studio or on the mat with some feet to the pavement.

Plus I love sharing some of the simplicity and beauty in our travels. Ah can we stay?

BUT … I’m ready to get back to a few actual workouts, and I missed a few days of posting so I will be sharing the next few days and some of my past days to complete this 14 day cycle.

A year of fruitful new chapters.

I began my newest chapter involving teaching Lagree & social media focus. These two things have allowed me to connect with new beautiful people in classes, and incredible faces all over the world.

I find life evolves and continually gets better and better.

The culmination of my life choices has allowed for a life I couldn’t have expected but one I’ve wished for, I’m beyond grateful for this journey. My friends and family and my partner in this life and beyond, I couldn’t be more grateful.

A life filled with so much laughter, curiosity, growth, travel, and time which is the most precious of treasures, time to create and spend time with my loved ones, this is a life I’m proud of and happy to live in.

Let 2025 be another building block to support an even more epic year ahead.

Day 1 Babes of my 14 Days of Fitness

I’m bringing in the New Year exploring and finding ways to stay active, because we are on Christmas Holiday in Greece!

There are sadly no Lagree studios out here so I must find ways to incorporate daily activity and some intentional movement to stay on my game.

Today was our first day in Greece and we were taking it “slow” as we are avoiding jet lag and oh yeah — ITS CHRISTMAS!

Merry merry Christmas to all who celebrate.

Everyday I’ll be sharing my experience, exploring & incorporating movement (many Lagree inspired movement) just without the machine.

Follow along to see this fun adventure and even follow along with some killer moves that you can do when you’re on vacay and away from any Lagree Studios.

Sunday reflections got me in my feelings today.

I hope you find, or have already found, the person who becomes your biggest cheerleader.

The one who sees you in your light, believes in your potential, steadies you when you’re wobbly, and walks with you while you find your sea legs.

The person who doesn’t just encourage your growth… but grows with you.

For me, that person is my other half.

She’s the one who nudged me into one of the most transformative spaces of my life: most recently…becoming a LAGREE INSTRUCTOR.

We were in California visiting my parents when she pushed me to finally do the thing I’d dreamed about for years… the thing I was nervous and hesitant to step into.

I went for it.

And has become one of the best decisions and most rewarding investments I’ve ever made in myself.

Everything this path has opened for me, and continues to open, feels like a gift I couldn’t have imagined. I’m deeply, endlessly grateful.

Grateful for her.
Grateful for this life.
Grateful for scary decisions is said “Yes” to, that changed everything.
Grateful for a life that makes room for me to grow, explore, and follow my passions.

So here’s your reminder: surround yourself with people who encourage you to do the scary things.

You will never regret betting on yourself and seeing what waits on the other side.

Lagree Transitions.

We are in each move averaging around 4 minutes, spending 20 plus seconds to transition may take away from half of your move.

Grace and speed definitely come with time and practice, but the goal is to quickly (and safely) move through the mega to your next move.

This way you can truly receive the full benefits of the 45 minutes you are in class.

Which one are you??

1️⃣An 8 second or less (I’m ready to go) OR

2️⃣20 seconds plus (taking a mini break, just love me 😜)
