🎀✨ Sunday Goal Insights | Part 1, Lesson 2: Know Your Destination ✨🎀

A little reminder that where you want to go matters just as much as how you get there. 💗

📊 THE STAT: Research by Locke & Latham (2002) found that specific, challenging goals generally lead to better performance than vague goals like “do your best.”

💭 THE QUOTE: “A clear goal gives your effort a direction.”

🌷 THE REFLECTION: What destination matters to you right now? What’s ONE small, specific step you can take this week to move closer to it?

You don’t have to have every detail figured out. Start with a clear intention, take one step at a time, and give yourself grace as you grow. 🎯💕

✨ Your Sunday challenge: Write down one goal, make it specific, and choose your first action!

Save this post as your reminder to keep moving with purpose, and share it with someone who’s working toward a goal of their own. 💌

Today is National Dare to Drive Goal Setting Day here in my hometown, so I wanted to share one of my favorite reminders about setting goals: ✨

“Small steps every day lead to big changes.”

Big goals don’t happen overnight. They happen when we keep showing up, taking the next small step, and believing in where we’re headed. 💕

Here’s to dreaming big, setting intentions, and daring to drive toward the life we want! 🎯✨

To the title that changed me,
It’s hard to believe I’m writing these words: my time as Miss Heart of Northwest 2026 is coming to an end.
And somehow, I get to say something I will carry with me for the rest of my life:
I was the very first.
The first to carry this title.
The first to walk into this role and figure out what it could become.
When I first put on this crown, I knew I was stepping into something bigger than a title. I just didn’t know how much this year would ask of me, teach me, and ultimately change me.
Being the inaugural Miss Heart of Northwest meant there was no blueprint. No history to follow. No former titleholder to look to and say, this is how it’s done. I had the incredible responsibility of helping give this title its first story.
And I hope I gave it one worth remembering.
But somewhere along the way, I realized that the greatest part of this year wasn’t the crown I wore—it was the people I got to wear it alongside.

Bre and Lily, my sister queens. There is something so special about going through an experience like this with people who understand the early mornings, the nerves, the long days, the excitement, and all the little moments in between. Somewhere between the pictures, the rehearsals, the laughter, the chaos, and the countless memories, you became so much more than fellow titleholders. You became my sisters. I hope you know how deeply I will treasure having shared this first chapter with you.

And Ella, my teen. Watching you grow throughout this year has been one of the sweetest parts of my experience. Getting to cheer you on, encourage you, laugh with you, and watch you become more confident has reminded me exactly why I believe these titles are about so much more than crowns and sashes. I hope you always know that being your Miss was one of the honors of my year—and that I will always be in your corner.

There were beautiful moments, difficult moments, exhausting days, unforgettable nights, and so many moments when I had to remind myself why I started. But through all of it, I kept learning one thing:
“If I cannot climb, I will grow.”
And I did.
I grew in ways I never expected. I learned that strength doesn’t always look like

MORE CAPTION ON NEXT SLIDE!!!

Miss Heart of Northwest Teen. Wow. What a ride it has been. ❤️

I said when I began this journey at 12 years old that one day I was going to be one of the Natural State girls. Who knew that along the way, I would make history by becoming the very first Miss Heart of Northwest Teen? I am beyond grateful that I got to hold this title and create memories that I will carry with me forever.

Sandon, Allyce, Emily, and Chanan — you guys are truly the best! There are no words that could ever fully display my gratitude for each and every one of you. Your words of encouragement, your guidance, and the way you helped me grow into a confident young lady, especially in the interview room, mean more to me than you will ever know. Through everything, you always encouraged me to continue being Ella, and for that, I am forever grateful. I walked into this year with a goal of making Top 15, and WE DID IT!!! What an incredible feeling to see a goal I had worked so hard for become a reality. ❤️To my three Laurens — you have been with me since I started this journey a few years ago. From wardrobe, perfecting talent, practicing, and helping me confidently speak, you have been there through so many moments. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and helping me become the young woman I am today. You are truly the best!

To my diamond, my little Leighton — you are so much more than a pageant sister. You are my best friend, and I am so thankful this journey brought you into my life. I cherish every laugh, every memory, and every moment we have shared. I can’t wait for another year with you and for all the memories we still have ahead of us. 💎

And to my biggest supporters, my family — Mom and Dad, I could never thank you enough. You have stood beside me through every practice, every early morning, every late night, every competition, every happy moment, and every disappointment. You have believed in me even when I doubted myself and reminded me why I started whenever things got hard. You have sacrificed so much to help me chase this dream, and I hope you know how much that means to me. I wouldn’t be standing here today without you.

To my sisters, my
