POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From the archives… January 15, 2004

Thousands of Prairie View A&M University students and supporters marched approximately six miles from campus to the Waller County Courthouse in support of PV students’ right to vote.

A New Era • Fall 2002 and S.U. Clique • Fall 2000 were among those who made that walk.

More than 20 years later, the message on our banner still stands…

Leave NO Student Behind. Register to Vote.

Today, October 5, is the LAST DAY for eligible Texans to register to vote in the November 3 election.

Texas, make sure you’re registered. Your voice matters.

My preference has always been to be serving behind the scenes, but this past weekend my purpose allowed me the opportunity to be in front of the camera 🎥 at the House of @eclecticallyyouexperience for the filming of #HowDoYouHearGod #Documentary by ✍🏾Writer/Director/Producer 🎬 @mkwillpower. It was truly a blessing to participate in this project... Micole is a master conversationist with a great personality and very relatable. She definitely helped me overcome my anxiety which made me comfortable enough to open up and be totally transparent in sharing my faith journey. Micole and her team were phenomenal and top notch professionals.

#filmmakerfriday 🎥🙌🏽💛🎉Yay!! Can’t wait for you to see it! Tickets are available for the first screening of my film “How Do You Hear God?”

May 17 @ 4pm EST

This film is more than just a story - it’s been a heartfelt testimony. Thanks to those who saw my heart and agreed to talk to me about a sensitive and often private subject - those who poured their passion into every frame truly touched my soul. I am so grateful that the film will premiere in one of my favorite cities - New York! I’m also grateful to be included in a festival that celebrates black women in cinema. If in the city / grab your tickets now and be part of the journey! I’ll be sitting in the back watching reactions, lol. #NewYork #micolewilliamswriteson #moviePremiere #howdoyouheargodfilm
