We welcome you to our very first house concert at our humble abode WILDLIGHT.

Showcasing two of our favourite homegrown acts - Shannon ‘Sol’ Carroll & Oj Newcomb, and Katie Milae.
Set in for an evening of folk, country, roots, reggae and funk, an experience sure to take you on a journey of storytelling songs and funky grooves.
We start the night with Katie, sharing her unique voice and authentic sound, and finish with the energetic groove of the dynamic duo of Shannon & OJ, also well known from their ‘Band of Frequencies’ (who are playing at Woodford Folk Fest this year).
Where is it? Nestled in the hills of Kin Kin, we welcome you to our 6 acres, 12 chickens, one dog, two domes and a big hug. We are excited to share our beautiful space, a truly unique and mesmerising home. Specifically, this is a geodesic dome house, and the acoustics are unbelievable. Expect a warm environment, bring your pillows, blankets and nestle in under the cosy feel of the dome while you take in the soothing and groovy sounds of our feature acts.
Be sure to get in quick! Tickets are capped at 55 as space is limited.

3 years ago I launched Yama-Nui Records with some friends at a beautiful Air BNB @thebarnathillhouse on the Sunshine Coast. Thank you Sarah & Andrew for hosting this event.

Yama-Nui Records now supports over 35 Artists with hundreds of releases. The very first album release by @pattierneymusic called ‘Lost in the Haze’ is actually coming up to its 2nd anniversary this week. A beautiful record.

Why build a label?
Releasing music is like heading off on a hike into the wilderness without paths or a known destination. It’s a full blown adventure. As an artist, it’s setting up a small business and embarking on this journey into a wild jungle to find your audience, confronted with enormous challenges day after day. We are here to support artists on this incredible trek, equip them with tools, a guide map as well as inform them of how to read & navigate these challenges. It starts with a belief & that their music is important for society. This team here are experts at what they do and we do our best to give our artists the best possible chance of navigating the journey & gaining knowledge while also enjoying the ride. It’s a very tough industry, and we hope that the support we give helps build resilience & confidence needed to break through and share their incredible art/creations with the world whilst making a living.
