POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Spent this rainy Saturday morning with the amazing @farm2clinic crew in Bertie County! 🌧️💜

A special shoutout to Dr. Lauren Sastre and the incredible Farm2Clinic team and volunteers, from ECU’s College of Health and Human Performance, Department of Nutrition Science, for the work they are doing.

Our team is looking forward to incorporating vision screenings and eye health education into efforts like these, meeting folks where they are and bringing essential health resources closer to home.

Different people, different expertise, one shared goal: healthier communities and greater access to care. Together, we can accomplish so much more! 🌱💜

Such a blast at our season opener today vs @alabamafbl —we tailgated with the @ecupirateclub and met some new peeps, added another giant stadium to our football travels, had great seats that ended up in the shade (!) and enjoyed some local eats.

Outcome wasn’t what we wanted but we had a blast, and all the Bama fans we met were super nice and welcoming. It was a HOT 🥵 one today with temps reaching close to 100 at kickoff! 🔥

Our fan base travels well for away games—we sold out our allotment and there were plenty of ‘purple’ cheers inside the stadium today.

I’ll always support my 🏴‍☠️ Pirates—always loyal and bold to the 💜 and 💛!

A look back at our recent trip to Ghana, Africa, to immerse in the country’s healthcare system, culture and history. Tina Marie Devlin and Dr. Leslie Cofie served as faculty leaders. The group visited a variety of facilities, including a community-based health planning and services compound, health center, district and regional hospitals, and a major teaching hospital. At UNICEF, they explored programs focused on improving child health and well-being. They also visited the National Health Insurance Authority.

Friends for more than 30 years—just love my @eastcarolinauniv peeps.

Met as students, forever friends. 💜💛❤️

For the last 11 years we’ve met for a weekend in the summer to catch up and share stories. We start planning in February and get the date set. Then we just show up. 💜💛🏴‍☠️.

We ate and drank, stayed up late and talked, swam and enjoyed lots of beverages, lingered over coffee in the mornings, went for long walks, laughed and cried and more.

I’ve always said my time at ECU changed my life and these ladies are a big part of that.

Grateful for my Pirate tribe. 🏴‍☠️
