Jeremiah 29:11. ✝️

I am incredibly blessed to have been a part of the 2026 @btf_program Player Development Summit in Detroit.

It was an honor to share what I’ve learned about financial stewardship, life after sports, and building a foundation that lasts far beyond the final whistle.

I’m equally grateful for the opportunity to learn from, listen to, and connect with so many incredible speakers, attendees, and professionals. The relationships and conversations were just as valuable as the time on stage.

The mission remains the same: learn relentlessly, serve intentionally, and leave people better than I found them.

On to the next. ✝️

Success rarely happens overnight.

Before the first episode was ever recorded, there were weeks of learning, preparation, and uncertainty. Along the way, some people stopped, some changed direction, and others burned out.

One lesson has remained true: consistency matters.

Keep showing up, even when progress feels slow. And just as importantly, give yourself grace. Growth isn't about perfection—it's about continuing the journey, one step at a time.

What a great weekend at the Player Development Summit in Detroit! 🙌🏾🏈

A huge thank you to @ed_jones2 , Lauren King, MEd, Jessica G. and all of the BTF volunteers for organizing such an outstanding event. The passion, professionalism, and commitment to serving athletes were evident throughout the entire weekend. 👏🏾

Athlete Transition Services (ATS) was honored to once again serve as a sponsor and support this important gathering of professionals dedicated to athlete development and well-being. 💙

Some of my personal highlights included:
✨ Reconnecting with old friends
🤝 Meeting colleagues in person for the very first time
🎤 Presenting alongside our Drirector of Mental Health, Heydie Orr, LMSW, SSW, CTRP-C
📚 Learning from a lineup of dynamic and insightful speakers
👟 Ending the weekend at the Sneaker Ball

Events like this remind me how fortunate I am to be part of a community that is committed to helping athletes thrive both during and beyond sport.

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend memorable. Looking forward to continuing the conversations, collaborations, and impact throughout the year! 🚀
