Last open mat with @greg._.ski before he goes to Italy! He always gives me a hard round, but of course he does, he’s polish. His half guard game is a great puzzle to try and solve and now he’s had knee bars legally thrown in, it’s an even more dangerous one to solve!

It’ll be great to see him compete in the Euros again at the next belt level. I am confident he will do well!

All the best! It’s been a pleasure!

Jiu Jitsu Con 2025 in the 📚

Blessed to be able to live this lifestyle and do what I love. Didn’t get the result I wanted but I’m thankful to compete at this level and chase my dreams. Beyond grateful for my coaches and training partners @revolutionbjjashland for constantly elevating my game.

My time is coming, back to work to prepare for the East Coast Trials and No-Gi Worlds☝️

It was definitely a fun day at IBJJF Masters Euros in Barcelona. Tough two first matches especially the second one with the most experienced person in the division, in the end I managed to secure a win against him and I progressed to the semifinals but before competing they had to bandage my feet due to the super nasty mat burn. Due to that I was sliding like on the ice rink and got taken down and at the end lost the match 2-0. Apart from that I can't complain about anything, it was a decent performance for my first gi match in IBJJF especially on purple belt level. Time for a pint of 🍺 something to eat and onto the next one.

Got bronze medal at European IBJJF no-gi championship. It was a amazing experience and my mates from @cvajiujitsu were amazing support. Pumped for future competitions and to learn from this experience.
