Such a privilege and joy to hear the heart and soul of the wandering Moles as nature intended. Such beauty in their effortless merging of harmony, passion and intent. Edd’s lyrical mischievousness’s and honesty nailed bare to the wall by Emma’s effortless grace and tone. I always feel guilty getting up to join in, like I’m spoiling a perfect reflection by throwing a breeze block into the lake… always an honour and a joy to serve the songs and their master x

@frthewhitehouse presents singer-songwriter @charliedoreofficial with virtuoso double bass player Gareth Huw Davies 💛 🗓️ FRIDAY 5 DEC 📍 @the_painswick_centre 🕰️ doors 7.30 Starts 8pm 🎶 support @edddonovan “Brave, poignant, entertaining, original” The Guardian ★★★★ “Charlie Dore is one of this country’s finest songwriters, a poet with the keenest of eyes” Americana UK Charlie Dore returns to share ‘Songs For The Curious,’ her latest mix of music that refuses to fit categorisation and new EP ‘Still Curious’ As an artist whose music tends to invite several hyphens when reviewers seek to describe it, Charlie loves nothing more than to mix genres, often finding in the process that songs can be re-invented in unexpected and interesting ways. A multi award-winning songwriter for dozens of different artists from Tina Turner, George Harrison and Celine Dion to Martha Wainwright, Ricky Ross and Paul Carrack, she loves writing but says “I still have the touring bug - in spades”. Alongside virtuoso 5 stringed double bass player Gareth Huw Davies, the two create a unique atmosphere, instrument-swapping, story telling, fast-moving yet relaxed and full of edgy humour. Charlie’s recent awards include Female Vocalist Of The Year (FATEA, 2020) and Best Lyrics (US Indie Acoustic, 2021) whilst her tours continue to reach new and enthusiastic audiences. “... earnest and witty, tender and cynical all at the same time” RnR Magazine “Reaffirms her place as one of our most intelligent and erudite singer-songwriters” Fatea Magazine “A voice like Kate McGarrigle meets Dory Previn. Wonderful” Mike Harding #stroud #painswick

Dayan! Necə deyərlər, “Sən etməsəm, mən etməsəm, bəs kim edəcək?” Song: @edddonovan 👌🏻 #burdanbirsosialişçikeçdi #sosialiş #cəmiyyət #insan #insanlar #problem #hell #sosialməsələlələr #kesfetteyiz #socialworker
