A major highlight at the ecoWise Summit London Edition is the Capital Panel that brought together leading voices to explore “What Conditions Move First Capital?”

Caroline Eboumbou (CEO, All On), Jaclyn Foss (Head of Business Development, CFP Energy), and Edwin Ehiorobo (Co‑Founder, ecoQuadrant) shared powerful insights on how carbon markets, catalytic capital, and distributed solar infrastructure can unlock climate finance at scale.

The discussion emphasized the importance of credible market signals, catalytic capital pathways, and the infrastructure needed to transform distributed solar into procurement ready climate assets.

On Monday 22 June, during London Climate Action Week, Vectar Energy convened leaders from Gold Standard, MSCI, SEforAll, RMI, AllOn, CFP Energy, Forge ESG, ecoQuadrant, Tide, BeZero and the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Climate Finance, alongside government representatives, financiers, solar developers and corporate carbon buyers at Imperial College London for the ecoWise Summit London Edition.

The summit brought stakeholders across the carbon credit and distributed solar value chain together around three core pillars: Scale, Trust and Capital, framing one central question for the day.

What conditions must be in place for carbon credits from distributed solar to move from climate potential into credible, repeatable and procurement ready market infrastructure?

Conversations revolved around structural barriers to scale, the integrity signals needed to build trust, and the conditions required to move first capital into carbon credits from distributed solar. Voices from across the ecosystem including Dr Tauni Lanier, Anita Otubu (SEforAll), Benjamin Bartle (RMI), David Hynes (Gold Standard), Francesco Melloni (BeZero), Matteo Deidda (Tide), Anubhav Joshi (MSCI), Caroline Eboumbou (AllOn), Jonathan Chibafa, Ibrahim Abdullahi Shelleng, and Jacklyn Foss (CFP Energy) shared insights on aggregation, digital MRV, catalytic finance and governance assurance.

The ecoWise Summit London Edition underscored the urgency and opportunity of connecting Africa's distributed solar projects to high integrity carbon markets. By convening leaders across government, finance, standards and industry, Vectar Energy highlighted the collaborative pathways needed to unlock climate finance at scale and make distributed solar procurement ready infrastructure a reality.
