Eddi has served as the RCRC RHS Liaison for the past two years, strengthening the vital connection between Rutherford High School and the Commission. Through consistent attendance and active participation in monthly meetings, Eddi became a trusted conduit for student voices — ensuring the student body's perspectives on equity, cultural inclusion, and diversity initiatives were heard and valued.

Eddi's dedication to increasing visibility and fostering deeper understanding of the diverse experiences within the RHS community has made a real difference. The passion and commitment brought to this role will undoubtedly continue to drive meaningful advocacy work ahead.

Live authentically as yourself to make the culture stronger.

On June 6, 2026, I was the keynote speaker at South Bergen Pride in Rutherford alongside GOAT David Grassetti from the @rutherfordpridealliance and Congresswoman Nellie Pou from NJ-09, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco III, and Bergen County Councilwoman Tracey Zur were there.

I spoke about the importance of rejecting gender-essentialism through crossing label boundaries and what it means to be truly and authentically yourself. I had many conversations that day about the significance of giving every person dignity, and the chance to live good lives. This is something that politicians in both the Republican and Democratic Parties tend to forget when voting for bills that harm the ives of others while claiming to be "for the people." Solidarity among all people is necessary for a people's liberation.

Thank you to GOAT, @_osiris._ for many of these pictures. Thanks to @rutherfordpridealliance for hosting all this and being awesome. Thanks to the kids who showed up and will continue to make a difference in their own communities or in Rutherford when I dip. I am very grateful for the support of allies, the LGBTQ+ community, liberationists, and hope we can continue to create a culture of understanding of intersectionality, education for all, and love.

I was gonna put anthems for a seventeen year old girl as the song for this but I didn't want you guys to cry too much.Also, I think JVB captured a similar theme that I want to express.

(I was gonna say cringe alert but then realized it's okay to be cringe but then wanted you guys to know that it's okay to be cringe hence why this blurb is right here)

I'm so scared of getting older you know. I remember when I was that age and the only people I really had to look up to were Faith and Felix because they were the only ones like me and were proof that kids like me could even hit that age. Sorry to name drop but I love you both and am giving props. Anyways, now I'm the age they were when we met and I get to say to myself "Fuck yeah! I'm alive!" I get to help my peers and the littluns see that trans kids can be happy and regardless of your identity you can just be expressive and honest. JUST BE ART. YOU ARE ART. That's besides the point and a solid conversation for another time. Regardless, I acknowledge I'm not perfect and that's where that fear lies. I'm afraid that I won't be a perfect leader, mentor, or friend. I'm scared that I won't be able to enjoy all the things that a "normal" child who has the privilege to even consider these activities would. I know I won't be able to be there for everyone every time while still showing up for myself, and I hope that everyone reading this knows I have love for them so genuinely. We live, we laugh, we love, and most importantly we learn.

Happy loving party people. Looking forward to continuing to show up for all of y'all and then y'all showing up for others. Pass it on yk.
