Brielle’s 2nd birthday 🩷🎀🎉 Time is an illusion, because what do you mean Brie is 2 🥺 it feels like just a month ago I brought her home. She is the light of my life (besides my partner 😅) and I couldn’t imagine a life without her in it. We have been through SO much together, she almost broke me - I was 23, single, working a toxic job that stuffed me over with Brie’s care, I was living in an apartment with housemates who didn’t want her there, went through a breakup, and a bunch of other stuff going on. There were times id lock myself in the bathroom just to get away from Brie. I was very close to giving her back to her breeder when she was a puppy. The breeder (who is usually extremely responsive) actually never responded to my messages when I asked to call her (to give Brie back) - which I truly think was a sign from the universe to not give up on her 🥹 I cant even imagine those days anymore, as Brie is now the most affectionate, loyal, obedient and loving dog I could’ve ever dreamed of 🤎 special shoutout to Alex - you are the reason I didn’t give up on her! Without your help and guidance, Brie wouldn’t still be in my life! Fast forward to today, I am 25, in a loving relationship with an amazing man - who is the best dog dad to Brielle (and really stepped up when we moved in together), in a new job in a completely different field where I get to WFH which had made Brie and I’d bond so much stronger 🩷 Those of you that were there from the early puppy days, know how much I struggled, especially May who had to listen to my voice notes of me crying 24/7 🤪 Raising a puppy is truly the worst yet most rewarding experience in life. Here’s to many more birthdays spoiling you Brie ✨
