When Efrain asked me to join forces with him and assist with content batching , event campaign and social media ; their account was sitting at 30+ followers with little to NO social proof. I accepted the challenge because I know what I bring to table . Cheers to the power of teamwork ⬇️ The way @efrainlozadajr showed up, many would have thought a paycheck was attached. The way I showed up cost me a lot as well. Risk , investment and sacrifice. The formula many of us not willing to make. His role as President of the Edgewater High School Foundation is entirely volunteer. As an alumni and proud former Eagle, Efrain took on this leadership role with passion, grit, determination, and a work ethic rooted in his love for his school and community. As he often say, “We’re chasing purpose, not a paycheck.” 30+ years of impact. It was time for @edgewaterhsfoundation presence to catch up. A Foundation with decades of community history & legacy , but a limited social media presence and an outdated website was costing them more than they knew . The impact was there. We just needed the systems and storytelling to help more people see it. In a matter of 60 days, we put in place: ✓ Website updates ✓ CRM setup ✓ Automations ✓ scheduled Content batching ✓ Intentional storytelling & social media support A renewed digital presence helped share the Foundation’s story, connect the community, and support the campaign for Legacy Night. The results: • 130,823 content views • 3,483 interactions • 142 net new followers During the 60-day reporting period shown. Legacy Night results reported by the Foundation: • $27,000 raised BEFORE event date • 200+ attendees • The most Hall of Fame nominations in 30 years Many doubted it could be done. But faith, action, and execution gave us these results with the support of a community that believed in the vision. The heart behind the work matters. So do the strategy, time, and expertise it takes to bring the vision to life. Your mission deserves visibility. Your vision needs systems. Planning an upcoming fundraising event ? From the football field to the Flying High Chorus, Dr. Alex Jackson, Class of 2000, embraced all that Edgewater had to offer. Today, he serves as principal of the very school that shaped him, leading more than 2,000 students with the same energy, pride, and passion he brought as a student. At Legacy Night, we celebrated the connection between our past and our future and Dr. Jackson’s journey is a powerful example of that legacy coming full circle. 🦅 Once an Eagle. Always an Eagle. 📸 @lifestylebrandingmedia #LegacyNight #EaglePride #EdgewaterHighSchool #AlwaysAnEagle

From Edgewater halls to Friday night lights, I got to give back to the place that gave me my start. I quickly drew this Eagle for our fundraiser + auction and man it felt full circle. Thanks to @efrainlozadajr , @edgewater_hs , @edgewaterhsfoundation and everyone who showed up, donated, or shared. 🦅

Friday night was something I will never forget. Hours before the event the rain came but we didn't pivot, just kept going. Over 200 people showed up to Eagle Legacy Night which was a huge risk and pivot from what the organization has seen and done in the past. We had 60 days to put this together. I had the honor of leading it as the youngest president this foundation has ever seen. One of the hardest things I've done thus far. When I came in I inherited four or five bins of paperwork with no systems and an outdated website. No real community presence but over the last two years we rebuilt everything from the ground up. We built a new brand, new website, new CRM, new energy and Friday night was the proof. We honored Hall of Fame inductees, we celebrated educators who poured into generations of Eagles. We surprised someone who gave 36 years to this school and had no idea what was coming. We raised over $25,000 in one night for a foundation working toward a $1 million endowment that will fund Edgewater students forever. None of this happens without our board, our sponsors, our in-kind donors, our volunteers and especially Evelyn Joachim, our event coordinator, who is not even an Edgewater alumni but poured her entire heart into this night like she was. This is Chapter 1. Now we keep building. #edgewater #EHShalloffame #nonprofit #legacynight

From vision to execution, Shamara Frazier brought Eagle pride to life. The Edgewater parent, OCPS-certified vendor, and CEO and creative force behind @unitybanquethall in Central Florida served as one of our official design & decor partner for Legacy Night. From the Hall of Fame stage focal point to red floral centerpieces paired with pieces from Edgewater’s memorabilia room, her creativity helped tell our school’s story through every detail. Thank you, Shamara, for helping create a memorable setting for our alumni, educators, OCPS officials, and community partners to gather and celebrate. Looking for a traveling design and decor specialist? We highly recommend Shamara and encourage you to support our Eagle parent 🦅 #LegacyNight #EaglePrideLivesHere #UnityBanquetHall #CentralFloridaEvents

I ended my Friday night at the Edgewater Foundation Legacy Gala. 🦅 It was a beautiful night surrounded by beautiful people who have given so much to Edgewater over the years, including fellow Board Member and former Edgewater teacher @vickielainefelder and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Bridget Williams. Alumni shared their stories about their time at Edgewater and recognized the educators who meant so much to them. I was lucky enough to sit with another Eagle alum who is a force for good and rising star @madammayorruthi. The Edgewater Foundation is continuing to cultivate community and raising scholarship money for students. I appreciate its dedication, work, and commitment to celebration. As Hall of Fame inductee Ms. Lopez said, it’s not worth doing if it’s not fun!
