POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re absolutely buzzing to have Ed Godden joining us at the NineDots Gathering.

Ed has been shooting weddings full time since 2012, but his photography career goes back much further than that - including 15 years working in press, sport and magazine photography before moving into weddings.

And after photographing more than 600 weddings, he still genuinely loves what he does.

Ed’s approach is rooted in honesty, experience and storytelling. He works primarily in a documentary way, letting the day unfold naturally, while still creating stylish portraits that feel completely true to the couple.

That mix of instinct, calmness and years spent working under pressure has shaped the way he photographs weddings - focusing on the real story rather than trying to manufacture one.
We’re really excited to hear more about his approach, his experience and everything he’s learned from a career spent documenting people and moments.

The issue with social media (other than feeling the need to show up) is that it tricks us into thinking we’re connected to all these people.
Whereas the truth is, if you’re a self employed creative, we’ve never been as lonely.. Feelings can spiral and be blown out of proportion.

WYRD was built for real world connection, it’s purposefully small and slow and full of all the stuff that builds communities, or at least the beginnings of.

I am so stoked to see how many of our previous attendees keep in touch and regularly champion each other’s work.

We’re not changing much or planning to go bigger for next year.. maybe we’ll even slow it down a bit more?!

7 WEEKS TO GO! 🔥

And LOOK who you’re going to be spending two days learning from...

We’ve got a properly brilliant bunch joining us for Gathering #11 this November, all bringing something completely different to the stage.

Different styles. Different approaches. Different businesses. Different ways of seeing things.

Because the point of the Gathering isn’t to come away wanting to photograph like somebody else. It’s about hearing how brilliant people think, shoot, create and run their businesses. Taking the bits that resonate. Questioning a few things you’re doing. Picking up new ideas. And heading home excited to push your own work forward.

Swipe through this year’s line-up 👉

Then tell us...

👇 Who are you most excited to see?

And if you haven’t got your ticket yet, there’s still time to join us in Manchester.

🎟️ Tickets via the link in bio.

Hey, I’m Hannah. It’s nice to meet you 👋🏻

I don’t show my face on here nearly enough so I thought I would fix that by sharing 20 photos of my face all at once haha. Here are some random tidbits of information about me (most of them aren’t really facts) so you can get to know me better 🤍

I’ve tagged the photographer of any pics that aren’t mine ✨

Our wedding venue is going a bit viral today after being featured on @britishvogue so what better excuse than to share some of the pictures from our magical day.
@wiltonsmusichall really was our dream wedding venue and so perfect for us as a couple - east London, Europe’s oldest surviving music hall, one of our favourite date venues, old and crumbling and rustic and so us! Pictures are a mix from our amazing photographer @edgodden and pics from friends. I wish I could relive this day! #londonwedding

A love story of two, Michelle and Jay were married at @chelseaoldtownhall in London back in May, myself @edgodden & @josephinewaymua travelled from Nottingham for the day, so it was always going to be fun. I was honoured to be a witness for the pair as they made their vows, watching two people promise commitment in such a private and quiet way was not only incredibly moving but it brought home to me what marriage is; pure human connection and respect 🤍 Also having your best day to remember forever.
The couple had a big party for friends and family later but that day was just for them 🤍
