💖 The Upward Design for Life Framily got together to celebrate all of their achievements in a beautiful space. Alex and Edreys opened up their @eatoffart studio for an evening of art and appreciation for everything the @upwarddesignforlife crew has done for our community. These volunteers dedicate their time and effort to restore faith and homes for families in need. I was thrilled to create two @ohgoodiebags for the volunteers to win. Dionne has always been an amazing partner to work with and love supporting her amazing mission to help uplift others. 🎉🥰 Bravo to this wonderful group! 🎨Be sure to check out @eatoffart so you can join Alexa and Edreys in their soul satisfying space to create with others in our community! #OhGoodieBags #UpwardDesignForLife #EatOffArt #OGCommunity #OhGoodieSpokesmodels

— EOA co-founders, 1992 Senior photos paired with the most recent 2026 portraits by Mr. Fantastic @david_r_moog… we’ve dedicated our lives to one another and we’ve dedicated our practice to a community that doesn’t always show up as we wished, yet we persist. we still show up, we still give and still build. what’s never addressed is, “what happens when you BUILD it and “they” don’t come?” what happens? we’ve lived in this space of ponder for nearly a lifetime as artists and entrepreneurs, here in Buffalo, and the only thing we have yet to do is relocate to more fertile soil that would support US and OUR needs. when people would ask us what’s next, we would reply with “we are TRYING to …x, y, z…blagh blagh” we are beyond “trying.” we no longer subscribe to a TRYING…we are a pair, a family of DOERS. we’ve been DOING our very best to be good stewards of the arts, beacons of light and hope, we’ve always expanded our practices to support other artists without needing reciprocity or returned favor. we’ve truly given Buffalo every bit of ourselves… we are grateful for each and every individual who has taken the time to invest in EOA and Cultrue Inc (501c3), show up full-hearted to pour BACK into us as we cycle it back into our programming and our heart work. this is transparency… this work is our mission…and missions aren’t always rewarded…yet always worth it to the soul…however, when the physical, when the mind grows weary with disappointing and second-guessing of the work, an assessment and analysis is warranted. still………..encouraged in rolling forward…until…. the tide shifts, the wind pivots…the journey sways as a bridge across the rapids of life. ❤️

We LOVE messy tables at the Studio + Place!! And YES, you do have to clean up after yourselves 💙💚 Our “Creative Care Circle” with @compeerbuffalo brought the MESS, in the best way possible. We made mini collages, talked about volunteer experiences and made buttons! It was a relaxing, mindful and explorative art expedition. If you are interested in finding out more about @compeerbuffalo and their volunteer opportunities contact them today. If you are interested in a creative workshop or a retreat for your staff, company or friend group contact us today from our website or email us at admin@eatoffart.com

@eleveeco x @therealafrikandoll x @buffalo.lighthaus . Friday evening was magic……i got to celebrate and be a part of the magic for my girl’s magazine launch by creating a fab graze table for her event!!! To say I’m proud of you would be an understatement Yayi! You and I first crossed paths a little over a year ago and it has been incredible to watch you fully step into your purpose and power! This path isn’t easy, but you keep going regardless! What you have accomplished in your 23 years is truly remarkable. I will forever support you and be one of your biggest cheerleaders. . The creative scene in #buffalo is what keeps my soul filled with hope for the future. The life that these young creatives are infusing into our city is unmatched!!! Being in rooms like this is truly what keeps me going. . Shout out to @alexisbandera.photo for creating one of the most beautiful spaces in buffalo!!! I think it might be time to plan my own little event there for next year!!!! . #artislife #fashion #magic

-Edreys I really do enjoy and cherish the fact that we are doing this thing called “Life” together. Across oceans and continents, for better or worst through sickness and health - I continue & strengthen my vow of being right by your side. It is a joy growing with you and becoming our best selves individually and collectively. Happy Anniversary - we have been married for literally half our lives. Cheers to 26 and a lifetime ahead of us. #blacklove #happyanniversary #youandme
