I wouldn’t train at @hypegym_ unless you wanted to be part of Tassie’s premier gym, surrounded by a phenomenal group of people 😉

POSTED ABOVE: MOVEMENT STANDARDS FOR RX TEAMS OF 4 We’re breaking down the movement standards to make sure everyone knows exactly what’s required on competition day! For all other divisions please read below 👇 RX TEAMS OF 2: I haven’t covered this division separately, as the movement standards are the same as RX Teams of 4, the only difference is the team format, with 2 athletes are working You Go, I Go (YGIG) format. INTERMEDIATE TEAMS OF 4 & TEAMS OF 2: The movement standards are the same across both divisions as the videos above EXCEPT, with the only difference being the Hanging Knee Raises (HKR) instead of (TTB) standard and jump or step over the wall how ever you like instead of (2 Foot Jump) standard. ➡️HKR - Teams of 4 Intermediate * 2 athletes working in synchro. * Both athletes hang from the bar with arms and legs fully extended * Both knees must rise above the hips.
* Both athletes must return to the hanging position above before the next rep. ➡️HKR - Teams of 2 Intermediate * You Go, I Go (YGIG) format. * Athletes alternate reps, with each rep meeting the required movement standard above ➡️Wall Facing Burpees Teams of 4 Intermediate * 2 athletes working in synchro * Athletes may jump or step over the wall whichever works best for you * Same chest and thigh + over the wall standards as the video above * In the demonstration video, a barbell has been used in place of the wall. * On competition day, there will be an actual wall to get over, set at the same height as the barbell shown in the video. ➡️Wall Facing Burpees Teams of 2 Intermediate * You Go, I Go (YGIG) format. * Athletes alternate reps, with each rep meeting the required movement standard above 🎥 Watch the video, familiarise yourself with the standards, and make sure you’re ready to go! The 24th of October is your last chance to purchase tickets! Don’t miss out on being part of the action. Click the link in the BIO to secure your tickets before they’re gone! 👊 If you have any questions, drop them below 👇

On a day that started with paragliding above Lauterbrunnen you assume the views couldn't get any better. But when the sun comes out and you spend an afternoon paddling on turquoise water, it's pretty damn close. 🩵 Everywhere you go, the colours in Switzerland are dialled all the way up. If I lost all my fitness tomorrow and had to start again from ZERO… I wouldn’t do more. I’d do the basics — and I’d do them consistently. I wouldn’t slash my calories. I wouldn’t train 7 days a week. I wouldn’t sign myself up for some brutal challenge. And I definitely wouldn’t expect my entire life to revolve around getting fit. I’d lift weights. I’d build my cardio. I’d walk more. I’d eat enough to fuel my body. I’d prioritise sleep and recovery. And I’d give it TIME. Because the biggest mistake I see people make when they decide to “get fit” is trying to change absolutely everything overnight. The best program isn’t the hardest one. It’s the one you can still see yourself doing when the initial motivation wears off. You don’t need to be perfect. You need a plan, progression and consistency. 📌 SAVE this for the next time you feel like you need to start over. And if you ARE starting from zero and have no idea where to begin, comment “ZERO” below or send us a DM. #ScareyFit #OnlineCoaching #FitnessCoach #StrengthTraining #FitnessJourney

HYPE GYM x BLCK INTEL From Monday October 5th, we’re taking the next step in the evolution of Hype Gym. I’ve spent a lot of time building the programming at Hype and I’m genuinely proud of what we’ve created. But as the gym continues to grow, I want to take Hype further. That means creating a training system that is uniquely Hype, something that reflects our brand, our community and the way we want people to train long term. To help build that, BLCK INTEL will be taking over the programming at Hype Gym. This isn’t about changing something because it wasn’t working. It’s about having the right people in the right roles to take Hype to the next level. BLCK INTEL will bring a dedicated approach to developing the programming, while I can put more of my time and energy into what I believe matters most, the gym, our members, the community and continuing to build Hype as a brand. The goal is to develop a programming system that is structured, progressive and purposeful, while still feeling unmistakably Hype. This change gives us the opportunity to do both things better. Better programming. More focus on our members. More development of the Hype brand. And ultimately, a better training environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This is the next chapter of Hype Gym. HYPE GYM x BLCK INTEL Performance with purpose. #hypegym
