A little throwback to the end of last academic year and this dance film we worked on. 🎬❤️‍🔥👣

Feeling SO lucky to be working with the same group of students again this year, but this time in a completely different creative setting… From a contemporary dance film to a full musical theatre production! 💃🏻🎭

Different challenges, different creative processes, and so many opportunities to learn, explore, experiment, navigate unfamiliar situations, develop new skills, discover new things about themselves and grow as artists. ❤️‍🔥

And getting to witness all of that? What a rewarding part of being an educator! 👩🏻‍🏫🖤 I loved witnessing their journey through this dance film, and I can’t wait to see what this next creative adventure brings out of them! 🤩

Let’s gooooo! 💥🔥❤️‍🔥

👩🏻‍🏫 A beautiful reminder of why I love teaching so much.👩🏻‍🏫

The last two terms of the year really had everything! 😅 Dance assessments, Ramadan, term 2 suddenly interrupted by geopolitical conflicts, online classes and the uncertainty of whether we’d even return for Term 3… But we did! 🙏🏼 We came back and finish the academic year on a high with some of the most rewarding weeks I could have hoped for. 🙌🏼

Amazing classes with wonderful students across every programme, great energy, sweaty studios, hard work, good laughs, meaningful challenges, and epic memories. ❤️‍🔥

Here are a few moments with some of the wonderful people I had the pleasure of teaching, along with a couple of special end-of-year projects: the Year 2 Musical Theatre Putting It Together Sharing, the Year 1 Trinity Diploma Dance Film Project, and of course… Graduation. 🎓⭐️😎

Time for a summer break! ☀️

Yalla, bye! 😘✌🏼
