Few kewl things from some kewl Kats

- Josiah was perturbed deads were so chill, so I told him to AMRAP his final week.
- James has been working through a nasty QL injury but there’s light at the end of the tunnel with squats & deads coming back to life
- Lauren has returned to low bar just over the 3 month PP mark. She’s excited.
- Paora’s been cheeky with squatting off program, so I put a heavy triple on program and he crushed it.
- Phipp said his final week of block was too chill, so I told him to double his top single. He did good.
- Jack only pulled 200 for the first time about 6 weeks ago and it looked fantastic, so I said do it for 2.
- Edwin’s deadlift side quest hits a new high as he pulls 600lbs for the first time amongst his oly training.
- Dan hit 260kg for the first time 2 months prior and we decided instead of top sets and paused work secondary we’d go for straight sets to get practice in and heavy RDL’s to smash the pos chain. I think it’s paying off.
- Jimmy competed a few months ago managing to slap 22.5kg on the total plus finally breaking the 140 bench curse.
- Chey just rounded out 2 crazy b2b blocks where she’s managed to clip a few volume PR’s without sacrificing working sets. 80kg has become regular week to week.
- Heath squatted 300kg for the first time at Power Pals alongside a +17.5kg on the total. Pushing accessories that took him out of extension whilst keeping his secondary day super chill lead to big jumps week to week.
- Randy’s a sucker for peer pressure, a cheeky double turned into a PR triple with a bit of gassing up
- Erica’s training has been on point with emphasis on recovery, she’s one week out from her second meet and looking GOOD
- Anth slapped 15kg on his comp deadlift after code switching into prep, turns out you can run & lift at the same time
- I’ve felt Luci can push higher than 130kg for a while so I challenged her to take 120 for reps and she DID
- Tu’s work schedule has been rough but boy is he tough. Despite some b2b sessions he’s lookin’ READY
- Chris couldn’t hide his footage forever

Wang & Edwin take on their first sanctioned meet

Both these boys have been hard at work training this year and really pushed for a hit out before December was up.

Wang went 3/6 handing out heart attacks on his first two snatches finishing with 110kg & 135kg (+5 for each lift on the platform)

Edwin went 6/6 finishing with equal gym PR’s 85kg & 115kg in his first ever competition.

Wang securing 3rd
Edwin securing 4th

Massive thanks again to @blacktigerbarbell for handling on the day - I know the both of these boys appreciated your guidance.

They’re pretty keen to do it all again early in the new year and I’m very excited to see what happens.

We love hearing feedback like Edwin’s.

When he started with FitFocus earlier this year, he had under 40 clients. Now he’s coaching over 50 and growing each month.

That kind of progress isn’t just about hitting numbers, it’s about the impact behind them. Every new client means another person getting the support they need to feel better, move better, and live healthier. Knowing FitFocus has helped make that possible means a lot to us.

Our goal is to take the admin out of coaching, so you can focus on helping clients and growing your business. So hearing feedback like this reminds us why we started in the first place.💙
