LOS ANGELES — THE ONE HUNDRED 💯 returns This Friday, September 18th.

This month, we’re bringing it back to what The One Hundred is all about: community, music, movement, and the dance floor.

No headliners.
No hierarchy.
No distractions.

Just DJs who know how to move a room and people who came to dance.

This month’s journey is led by:

Samo
DJ Jiwa
Ritchie

Three DJs. One room. One Hundred. 💯

From house to deep grooves, soul, rhythm, and everything that belongs between — come ready to experience the night from beginning to end.

COME EARLY. STAY LATE. DANCE.

Rooted in Chicago.
Inspired by Detroit.
Connected through New York, London & Los Angeles.

The One Hundred has never been about standing around waiting for the “main act.”

It’s about the whole night.

The people you came with.
The people you meet.
The record you didn’t know you needed to hear.
That moment when the entire room locks into the same groove.

That’s The One Hundred. 🖤

THE ONE HUNDRED 💯 IS BACK.

Last time we had the incredible Rimarkable in the building, and apparently I decided to become Barbara Walters for a minute. 😂🎤

Now we’re doing it all over again.

Come early. Stay late. Dance irresponsibly.* 💯

*Responsibly irresponsible, obviously. 😎

This is the club BEFORE y’all get in there and start acting up. 😂

Quiet floors.
Plenty of personal space.
Nobody yelling “THIS IS MY SONG!”

…and approximately five minutes later. 😂💃🏽🕺🏽

THE ONE HUNDRED is for that moment when the DJ plays a song you forgot you loved and suddenly your knees remember moves they haven’t attempted since 2004.

You know that face people make when the first three seconds of THE song come on?

😳
“WAIT…”
👀
“IS THIS…?”
🙌🏽
“OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!”

That’s basically our music policy.

Songs you love.
Songs you forgot you loved.
Songs you’re about to love again.

Every party has two kinds of people:

People who say, “We should probably go…”

…and the LAST FIVE PEOPLE ON THE DANCE FLOOR. 😂💯

CeCe Peniston’s “Love Thang” came on and apparently going home was no longer an option.

Respect to the closers. 🫡💃🏽

SOOOOO… you coming or what? 👀💯

Come early. Come dance. Come hear something you forgot you loved.

And if you’re one of the last five people standing at the end…

we already know who you are. 😂

LOS ANGELES — Rimarkable is coming to The One Hundred. 🖤

EARLY BIRD TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT. Thank you, Los Angeles! 🙏🏽

The next release of tickets is available now via Resident Advisor — link in bio. Don’t wait on this one.

On Friday, August 21st, we’re honored to welcome one of the most respected voices in underground dance music to our community: Rimarkable.

An Afro-Puerto Rican cultural architect, DJ, educator, founder of Betty Jean’s Dream Records, and globally celebrated tastemaker, Rimarkable has built a reputation for transcending genres—blending deep house, techno, soul, funk, disco, and gospel into dance floor experiences that are as uplifting as they are unforgettable.

A member of the legendary Defected Records family and host of the internationally syndicated Defected Radio Show, she’s shared stages with George Clinton, Madonna, Erykah Badu, and Honey Dijon, while also mentoring the next generation of artists through her course, The Alchemy of DJing, at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute.

Brian Epstein opens the night, setting the tone from 9:30PM.

Rimarkable takes us on the journey.

And The One Hundred resident Juliet Mendoza closes the night, bringing it all home.

Come early. Stay late. Experience the whole journey. 🖤

Rooted in Chicago.
Inspired by Detroit.
Connected through New York, London & Los Angeles.

No VIP sections.
No egos.
No distractions.

Just music.
Just movement.
Just soul.

The One Hundred is more than a party.

It’s a community—a place to dance freely, meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and lose yourself in music that feeds both the body and the spirit.

Few pics I'm tagged in - The flyer in the last slide es from a decade ago while in the LA YCL. We hosted and housed @keith_mchenry co-founder of the 1st Food Not Bombs. He gave a talk on FNB's mission and history that inspired a separate group of comrades and myself to begin Comida No Bombas LA. At that time we still dumpster dived with relative ease, we'd cook every weekend, and we'd ride out with a backpack full of warm burritos to share with hungry pansas.
