💌 from Camp ACHIEVE a few weeks ago

One of our PGY5s Dr. Yoon Ji Moon spent another magical week volunteering with visits from PGY4 Dr. Noor Ibrahim and our PD Dr. Sudha Kessler, too. Camp ACHIEVE, hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania, is a week-long sleepaway experience designed for youth living with epilepsy, with the support and community needed to make summer camp feel like it should: joyful, adventurous, and full of belonging. 💜🏕️

In my journey as a Rare Disease Mom/Caregiver I have thought to myself many times, what do I want my future to now look like?..I don't chase status, power, control, or exclusion..

I chase a life full of Inclusion, Acceptance and Growth..I rather spend my life advocating, making change for others and making a life worth living for all of us. Being successful isn't measured by how we control others or how much money we have.

Success to me is measured by how we all can grow together and teach our children to accept others for their differences. A world full of hope, acceptance and kindness is a world I rather be apart of.
