When I started planning the Shokz Social, I had one goal in mind. Bring people together, share some laughs, make new friends, try out some Shokz and celebrate this amazing running community.

And that's exactly what happened!

I want to thank everyone who took time out of their busy marathon weekend to stop by. Whether we were meeting for the first time or catching up, it meant so much to me that you were there.

First official run since June when I injured my foot 🥹 Happy 6th anniversary @swaggahouse_run_club !! Wishing you many many more years of success and community! What stood out the most during this run, is that everyone is dealing with something -- but still showed up for themselves! You truly never know what someone is dealing with, so be kind and supportive!

I'm proud of myself for showing up and looking forward to being 100% soon, cheers to more runs in the future 💕🥇🎉 It felt really good to be back outside! S/O to my community for getting me through this run. Literally met bro in the 7th slide that day and he pushed me to the finish line! Day two with Ms Badu felt like reason 162 to add this to your bucket list. It’s the ultra fly cousins cookout where the energy stays high and the style keeps showing off. They ate these festival looks up.

Happy Global Running Day!!! Wow, honestly what a journey. I've always had aspirations of being a runner and it's still taken a lot to say "yes, I'm a runner" and feel like I hold this space as a runner. But what makes me beam with the most pride is when people say, yes I see you, you be running or "you've inspired me to run" or "let me know when the next 5K is going on" -- honestly truly -- running lowkey changed my life. Running, thank you for giving me community, fun, friends, laughter, an appreciation of my body, and honestly just a sense of appreciation of what I can do when I put my mind to it! Locking in on a goal and achieving it, hits different -- okay?! The hours, training, energy, efforts, injuries and more -- all makes it worth it. No one knows what it takes to show up the day of a race and honestly truly , your journey, is YOUR JOURNEY!! Cheers to putting my mind to all of the things and accomplishing even more. Looking forward to every starting line in the future, especially as I take on my first World Major in the Fall. 🙏🏾💕 #GRD26 #blackgirlsrun #phillyrunner #bosypositivity outdoors

#MetalMonday Year 5 is done! Thank you @ibxrun10 for a phenomenal run, it's one of my favorite runs! From the route, to the Temple band, and the spectators -- Broad St. Run does it for me every year! I still can't believe it didn't rain lol BSR vibes are so high and the energy in the city is always electrifying! I'll also take my new PR from this year too 👏🏾 Same time, next year?! 🎉🥇Shout out of my run coach @mindful.marathon, I'm coming for a new PR next year! 💜

Let's just pretend I posted this yesterday for #MetalMonday 🌸💕 Thank you @cucb for a great 10 miler in my favorite city!! The vibes were so high, from the expo to race day and beyond -- it was a great weekend!! Proud of myself that I finished in 2:06, my 10 miler last year I finished in 2:31 -- I'll take that as a PR!
