Happy #MetalMonday don't count me outtt, I've been in the cut but I'm happy to be back outside even if my foot isn't 100% yet. Injuries suck but we move! Slowly but surely getting back 🙏🏾💪🏾

Congratulations to everyone who completed @philadelphiadistancerun yesterday 5K, 13.1 or both -- way to dig deep and get it done!! I always have a blast cheering for other runners!! I'm so proud of you all especially my friends that completed the half marathon for the FIRST TIME -- wow y'all are phenomenal!!! Enjoy this moment, see y'all at the same time next year! 💙💗🎉🥇 #runnerlife #philly #keepitmoving taken in Philadelphia Museum of Art by @efiaaaa_

First official run since June when I injured my foot 🥹 Happy 6th anniversary @swaggahouse_run_club !! Wishing you many many more years of success and community! What stood out the most during this run, is that everyone is dealing with something -- but still showed up for themselves! You truly never know what someone is dealing with, so be kind and supportive!

I'm proud of myself for showing up and looking forward to being 100% soon, cheers to more runs in the future 💕🥇🎉 It felt really good to be back outside! S/O to my community for getting me through this run. Literally met bro in the 7th slide that day and he pushed me to the finish line! Shout out to the run community for being amazing in more ways than one! *pretend you're seeing this yesterday for #metalmonday * #blackgirlsrun #keepitmoving #recovery #philly by @efiaaaa_

Happy Global Running Day!!! Wow, honestly what a journey. I've always had aspirations of being a runner and it's still taken a lot to say "yes, I'm a runner" and feel like I hold this space as a runner. But what makes me beam with the most pride is when people say, yes I see you, you be running or "you've inspired me to run" or "let me know when the next 5K is going on" -- honestly truly -- running lowkey changed my life. Running, thank you for giving me community, fun, friends, laughter, an appreciation of my body, and honestly just a sense of appreciation of what I can do when I put my mind to it! Locking in on a goal and achieving it, hits different -- okay?! The hours, training, energy, efforts, injuries and more -- all makes it worth it. No one knows what it takes to show up the day of a race and honestly truly , your journey, is YOUR JOURNEY!! Cheers to putting my mind to all of the things and accomplishing even more. Looking forward to every starting line in the future, especially as I take on my first World Major in the Fall. 🙏🏾💕 #GRD26 #blackgirlsrun #phillyrunner #bosypositivity outdoors taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @efiaaaa_

#MetalMonday Year 5 is done! Thank you @ibxrun10 for a phenomenal run, it's one of my favorite runs! From the route, to the Temple band, and the spectators -- Broad St. Run does it for me every year! I still can't believe it didn't rain lol BSR vibes are so high and the energy in the city is always electrifying! I'll also take my new PR from this year too 👏🏾 Same time, next year?! 🎉🥇Shout out of my run coach @mindful.marathon, I'm coming for a new PR next year! 💜 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @efiaaaa_

Let's just pretend I posted this yesterday for #MetalMonday 🌸💕 Thank you @cucb for a great 10 miler in my favorite city!! The vibes were so high, from the expo to race day and beyond -- it was a great weekend!! Proud of myself that I finished in 2:06, my 10 miler last year I finished in 2:31 -- I'll take that as a PR! Let's keep working🥇🎉 Broad St. Run up next! taken in Washington D. C. by @efiaaaa_

#MedalMonday hits a little different today! I'M A MARATHONER NOW!! I’M IN THE 1% PERCENT CLUB BABY!! 🥹😍🥇🎉 FIRST MARATHON IN THE BOOKS!!! I'm so proud of myself but also beyond thankful for my village and my community that helped get me here! Thank you to everyone that called, texted, sent a message, a voice note, and more!

The back of my hoody said my mom's name K.I.M. "Keep It Moving" literally something she would say all the time -- I literally woke up with the song "Hey Mama" by Kanye in my head. Mom, I carry you with me everyday but Sunday was a game changer. Someone even told me that they liked my hoody and called me by your name --- ahhh thank youuuu (because that's my girl). 🕊️😊 Cheers to checking things off my bucket list and THANK YOU all so much for the love and support!! 🥹💕 I'm so full of gratitude ✨ XOXO

Same time next year?! 😉🥰 #philly #philadelphiamarathon #runner taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @efiaaaa_
